Vampires
Pander - is a clan [S.2]
Wild Hunt - is another name for a Blood Hunt. The terms are interchangeable.
You do not have to control any particular type of anything to call a Hunt.
[LSJ 970224]
Combat
Hand Strike - any non-ranged, non-weapon strike that deals damage based
on the striking minion's hand damage, or any minion's non-ranged
damage-dealing innate strike. [LSJ 970224]
Hand Damage - damage from a hand strike. [LSJ 970224]
e.g. Damage from a Bastard Sword is *not* hand damage.
Politics
Prisci are *not* prohibited from voting in the main vote if they have votes.
[LSJ 970224]
The Prisci Vote
Only Prisci may vote in the Prisci Vote. [LSJ 970224]
Prisci can only vote in the Prisci vote with the vote(s) they get for the
Prisci vote (i.e., the votes received for being a Priscus plus any vote
that says it is used in the Prisci Vote). [LSJ 970224]
Neither Political Action cards nor the Edge can be burned in the sub vote.
[LSJ 970224]
Votes gained from action modifiers and reaction cards cannot be cast
during the Prisci Vote. [LSJ 970224]
If a Priscus is forced to abstain or to change his votes, then this
includes his votes in the Prisci Vote as well as his votes (if any) in
the main vote. [LSJ 970224]

CARD-SPECIFIC RULINGS
Antonio Delgado - vampire (Las) (9):
Does not untap if the vote isn't successful (doesn't pass). [LSJ 970224]
Blood Brother Ambush - Action Modifier/Ally (BruA) (2):
Can be used by a BrujahAnti taking an action while in torpor. If this
happens, the blocker does not get the oppotunity to commit diablerie.
(The action itself is blocked and canceled - like Change of Target).
[LSJ 970224]
Bloodbath - action (1):
If the target already has or subsequently gains a title, then he doesn't
get an extra vote from the Bloodbath. If the target loses his title,
then he again gets his extra vote from the Bloodbath. [LSJ 970224]
Bonecraft - combat (vis) (1):
the "(This does not affect the Strike Resolution step this round.)" reminder
text is properly read as "(This does not affect the current pair of Strike
Resolution steps.)". That is, any additional strikes after the strike that
was annnounced with the Bonecraft strike will be affected. [LSJ 970224]
Camarilla Vitae Slave - retainer (Las) (2):
The vampire keeps his chosen discipline at superior until his controller's
next untap phase even if the retainer is burned or stolen. [LSJ 970224]
Code of Milan Suspended - political action:
should be read as "Choose the Methuselah with the Edge. Successful vote
means that the chosen Methuselah burns one pool." [LSJ 970224]
Communal Haven: Temple - master (1):
The Sabbat vampire targetted by a (D) action doesn't get the +1 intercept
bonus from this card. [LSJ 970224]
Derange - action (dem):
cannot be moved to a Malkavian Antitribu vampire. [LSJ 970224]
superior should read: "As above, and the vampire with this card does not
untap as normal. He or she may burn 1 blood once during his controller's
untap phase to untap." [LSJ 970224]
Detection - master:
Should read: "Put this card on a Lasombra. The vampire with this card does
not untap as normal, but may burn 1 blood once during his controller's
untap phase to untap. The vampire with this card cannot cast votes. The
vampire with this card may burn this card as a (D) action. This card
remains controlled by the Methuselah who controlled the acting vampire
when this card was played." [LSJ 970224]
Direct Intervention - master: out-of-turn (1):
If used to cancel a card during a political action, neither card is replaced
until the political action is ended. [LSJ 970224]
Dirty Little Secrets - action modifier (NosA):
If the methuselah you are bleeding doesn't burn any pool (if she calls in a
Major Boon, for example), then she doesn't burn any cards from her
library, either. [LSJ 970224]
Ethan Locke - vampire (TreA) (9):
The (D) action is directed at the controller of the skill card. [LSJ 970224]
Fire Dance - action:
You don't choose the vampire to be given the Dance until it's clear the
action won't be blocked (cf. Of Noble Blood) [LSJ 970224]
Fleshcraft - combat (vis):
The action to burn fleshcraft suffers the -1 stealth penalty as well, so
is usually at zero stealth to start. [LSJ 970224]
Fractured Armament - combat (pot):
The inferior is not a damage-dealing strike; the superior is. [LSJ 970225]
!NEW!
Hidden Strength - combat (for) (X):
The 'X' is the cost. [LSJ 970224]
Legacy of Caine - master:
The hunting vampire can steal blood from a vampire in torpor. [LSJ 970224]
If he hunts, he must still take the (D) action vs. a vampire, even if there
are no vampires with blood to steal. [LSJ 970224]
When hunting on a target that has no blood to steal, a successful action
will simply have no effect (stealing zero blood). [LSJ 970224]
If there are no targets (vampires) at all, then vampire cannot hunt.
[LSJ 970224]
Machine Blitz - combat (tha):
inflicts an amount of ranged damage equal to the amount the chosen weapon
would inflict if it were chosen as a strike. This amount is set when
Machine Blitz is announced. [LSJ 970224]
March Halcyon - vampire (Pan) (1):
A Blood/Wild Hunt *can* be called on a vampire that diablerizes March when
he (the diabolist) is not the acting vampire (w/ Amaranth, e.g.)
[LSJ 970224]
Mind of a Child - action (dem) (3):
The action to burn is undirected. [LSJ 970224]
Mind Rape - action (dom) (2):
superior: control of the vampire reverts to his former controller when the
last ego counter on Mind Rape is removed. [LSJ 970224]
Nephandus (Mage) - ally (TreA) (2):
Each strike or other damaging effect made by a minion opposing Nephandus is
at -1 damage. [LSJ 970224]
Propaganda - action (pre) (2):
the Methuselah you are bleeding taps one of her ready, untapped minions if
the action is successful. [LSJ 970224]
Quickness - combat (cel) (1):
superior should read: "As above, but this additional strike card (quickness)
does not count against this vampire's additional strike effect limit for
this round." [LSJ 970224]
Reform Body - combat/reaction (vis):
If the vampire is being diablerized, but saves himself with Reform Body, the
diablerie is considered unsuccessful. The diabolist gets nothing from the
victim, and no Blood/Wild Hunt can be called. [LSJ 970224]
Cannot be played from Torpor, since it is a reaction card. [LSJ 970224]
Cannot be played by vampires who aren't in the active region (burned with
Goodnight Sweet Prince or Sabbat Inquisitor, e.g.) [LSJ 970224]
Can be played by any vampire being burned in combat, not just a "reacting"
vampire. [LSJ 960226] !NEW!
Scrying of Secrets - action modifier (aus) (1):
You choose which of the bleed action cards is discarded (for superior).
[LSJ 970225] !NEW!
Shadow Step - combat (obt):
The two blood is not the card cost, but is the cost of using the
range-setting effect. It cannot be ignored by Dragos, nor used by a
vampire with less than two blood. [LSJ 970224]
Sword of Judgment - equipment (BruA) (2):
Cannot be used by a non-Brujah-Anti (card text). [LSJ 970224]
Thanks for the Donation - action (dom):
stays in play even though it is a minion card and the minion it is on is
contested. Treat it as if it says: "Put this card into play and choose a
card your are contesting with another Methuselah..." [LSJ 970224]
War Ghoul - Ally (Tzi) (3):
If you have no other allies and no retainers in play when War Ghoul is
recruited, then you burn War Ghoul to satisfy card text. [RTR 961113]
