Hello again. I have modified the ELDB site and have also set up a sneak preview slideshow to showcase the new features available in ELDB 3.0. You can check out the slideshow at http://people.atl.mediaone.net/intj/eldb/ Enjoy! David Anderson-Dávila Creator of the Elder Library Deck Builder

It features a little green box summing up the number of cards by discipline. Great ! All we need now is a Happy Families automated calculator, giving suggested values for this green box based on crypt selection... :p (Don't know if it should go into ELDB. And it's probably a bit late to propose new features, but anyway...) Thank you very much for all you work David ! :) Francois

Instead of clicking on the link right click, and 'Open in new window' You should get scroll bars so that you can scroll around the oversized pics. Someone doesn't build for the lowest common >denominator! Those of us with tiny screens unite! :) Thanks Aaron. That helped a lot! I'm also a bit curious how David got some of the information. I'm really excited about the supposed text for Absorb the Mind. A Dodge for Dominate! No cost and apparently usable with just inferior. While I'm not exactly sure Dominate needed it (now they can Obedience you OR Dodge), the Tremere really needed it! (No longer do you need AUS for a stinkin' dodge!). Halcyan 2

Who do you have to give a hand job to to get access to that kind of info? And no praise is complete without a complaint, so on the wish list for 3.01... it'd be nice if you could have the deck print out in a format that could be cut and pasted for deckserver registration. One card per line, card name only. But it's not that hard to do it by hand, and I guess I could always just write a program to do it (I used to have a pretty neat little QBASIC deckbuilder... it didn't know the names of the cards - you just had to type your deck in, but I concentrated more on draw-testing features, and on getting it finished in about an hour).

Oh thought he did, well he knows people from the WW though (I think?). The point is anyway that they probably helped playtest the cards. Roger

So the name on one line, a few key points for vampires (disciplines etc.), perhaps the type and requirement of a discipline card or something. It is wrapped round with the LIBRARY and ENDREG commands (or CRYPT and ENDREG). But simply having the text, one card per line, with repetitions for each card (so instead of writing "8 Conditioning", you have the card appear 8 times) is sufficient. -- James Coupe When correctly viewed PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Everything is lewd EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 I could tell you things about Peter Pan 13D7E668C3695D623D5D And the Wizard of Oz, there's a dirty old man

I wasn't the one wondering inthe first case ;) I don't really who is a playtester as long as he's competent. Which I believe both David and Noal are (without knowing any of them). Roger

Yes I know they most likely are under some kind of NDA or that their silence is at least taken for granted. It's "prrof" enough they yet ahven't commented anything of this ;) But as I said, I don't care who is and who is not a long as they do a good job! :) With FN they did a great job at least. Roger

[ quoted text not captured ] Well back from the Prerelease. I woul dhave to say that they did a good job on the BL cards also, and as much as I HATE to say it C. Shy's artwork on the gargoyles looks wonderful. However his vampire depictions still look like faded water colors. Raille

I sort of expected stone like gargoyles in the dead of night, lingering on parapets to have this out of focus character. It really fit thematically. Raille
