Is there a specific time when you're allowed to sacrifice the Edge to get rid of all your Sabbat Threat counters? Or can you sacrifice the Edge at any time to do this?

[ quoted text not captured ] You can sacrifice (burn) the Edge at any time to lose your Threat counters. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@regency.wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. (*) - Subject to review by Rules Team

My group has used the "any time" rule. e.g. A malkav deck has a sabbat threat counter. On his turn one malkav successfully bleeds, and gives up the edge to remove the counter. Then another malkav successfully bleeds, regaining the edge.

Or even: You have the edge and a threat counter. If it is your untap, you can gain blood from the edge, then burn it to lose the counter before paying for it. If it isn't your turn, and someone declares a bleed which you think will be successful, give up the edge before the bleed is successful to lose the counter. Sabbat threat is only a problem if you can't get the edge. Dave Green I'm tired of flour and water
