Hmm... so the local prine played this rela nice deck one night with weenie with fortitude and undead persistenc, trap and skin of the night (for that combat card reset)... Combats last many rounds, but can be summed up by just putting both vampires into torpor (usually...). However... I was fearing an infinite combat... that'd be fun. But the problem is, one would run out of cards in one's deck... sad... but, wait! Are their any cards that let one get a card out of their discard pile durng combat! Then, with the opposing vampire containing damage prevention, we could have an infinite combat! Oh yeah! So... any thoughts on this rediculous and pointless trick? ~Scremaing Vermillian

[ quoted text not captured ] Can't quite get to infinite, buy you can certainly take it beyond any point of reason. Situation: 5 player game each player has a 90 card deck first two players bring out Nosferatu, (Agrippina and Amadeo) no other players bring out vampires or discard Agripinna bleeds for 1 Amadeo blocks Agripinna plays Trap both vampires strike hands for 1 press both vamires strike hands for 1 press One player plays a Nosferatu Putresence on Amadeo Agrippina strikes hands for 1 press Agrippina strikes hands for 1 press Agrippina strikes hands for 1 press One player plays a Nosferatu Putresence on Agrippina Both vampires strike hands for zero Repeat until all 5 players have emptied their libraries. (4*90) + 89 = 449 Nosferatu Putresence That should result in 1346+ rounds. More than enough to be ridiculous. Carpe noctem. Yeah... but I was really hoping for an infinitely long (or at least two hours) of combat...) possibility built in to two decks... you know.. me and a buddy go to a friendly game session and duke it out for a long time, having no effect... ah well.. back to the drawing board... ~Screaming Vermillian

You could get to infinite with a Meat Hook vs. Apparition (no Trap necessary). The Meat Hook could provide a press each round, with the Apparition soaking the damage (both combatants play Apparition). Or substitute Ex Nihilo for Apparation (then only one vampire need play it). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Or Ex Nihilo/Apparition and superior Song of Serenity, or if they have Bone Craft on themselves. Roger

For example: Blythe in combat with a disarmed malkavian with a meathook Nosfeartu with meathook, nosferatu putresence in combat with a setite with skin of the adder (inf) and which Harika has played erosion on. Ambrusius up against a Harika, who has played Disease. /Henrik

I'd just LOVE to see (or hear about) one of these combos coming up in a tournament. Oh yeah. Sorry everyone! But we're all getting half a victory point, and no table wins! ~Screaming Vermillian
