Okay, here is another card that some of us are not sure of. Powerbase Mexico city says that a sabbat vamp can take a direct action to steal the blood from this card. The question that has come up is, Can a methuselah put this card out in his/her master phase, put the blood on it, and then in minion phase, have one of their own sabbat vamps take a direct action to steal it? Some of us say yes, some of us say no because it seems like a minion cannot take a direct action against it's own methuselah. Any ideas?? Matt Thinks Calebos ROX!!!

Directed actions cannot target yourself or cards you control unless indicated by card text. The only card with such an indication is Rampage. -- L. Thanks for the info. This kind of sux b/c it was nice easy free blood =) Makes it more fair. Any good ways that are sanctioned for a Nosferatu deck to get blood back? Seems this is the hardest clan to work with b/c you get all your vamps and equip and retainers/allies out and things are going well, and you realize that you are down to about 6 blood. I had finally managed to get the cards I wanted, namely Info Highway and managed to get Harrod out, when I turn around after a mean bleed to see that I have 3 blood left. I was out like 2 turns later b/c my intercept sux rocks and my predator was playing a mean stealthy dominate Malk deck. Thru a mixture of cards that was highly improbable yet seems to fall that way, The Malkavian IC member Leandro bled me for like 8 or 9. Unfortunately, I didn't pull Archon Investigation until my next turn. Good luck on my part eh?? Matt Thinks Calebos ROX!!!

These are the FAST ways to get pool with Nosferatu: Nosferatu have a good number of relatively cheap Princes with both superior Potence and Obfuscate. Carlotta Giovanni, who can recycle cards in your ash heap, has superior Potence and inferior Obfuscate. With this combination you can gain pool with the 5th tradition - minion tap combo and / or the other traditions and / or votes (Parity Shift, Consangineous Boon, Autarkis Percecution, Ancient Influence, Political Stranglehold...) If you don't want to walk the political path, use Minion Tap and Amadeo. He hunts for an additional blood, and with a Hunting Ground, Inbase Disco Frankfurt, Palatial Estate and Aaron's Feeding Razor he can get 5 Blood in one turn hunting. There are a number of slower pool gain variants, but you seem to need fast refuel. > I was out like > 2 turns later b/c my intercept sux rocks and my predator was playing a mean > stealthy dominate Malk deck. Unfortunately, I didn't pull Archon Investigation until my next > turn. The best ways to deal with a Malk Predator are massive bleed bounce (not a strength of Nosferatu) and Rush and Combat (This IS a strength of Nosferatu!) Leandro comes out and faces some Nosferatu attacking him with a Trap Song of Serenity (Superior) Torn Signpost (Superior) (3 turns later) Disguised Weapon : Wooden Stake = 10 normal damage + 2 aggrevated damage (Leandro burned) and you got 0 damage and keep the stake. -- Michael Beer, Dortmund, Germany, ICQ 1175389 http://www.noefs.ping.de/user/mike/index.html -------------------------------------------- Life is founded on Chaos. G'day, > >Ma...@worldcom.com wrote: > >> Any good ways that are sanctioned for a Nosferatu deck to get blood back? <sorry for snipping your stuff out Richard :) > Use big guys and Minion Tap like crazy. Have Selma, Sheldon and Niklaus 5th trad. to refill, which the Nos can get away with at super stealth levels. Niklaus is great if he is your first vamp too, 7 blood you can siphon off. My Nos deck is animalism heavy so I dont tend to get bled a lot. Rats, Cats, Dogs and Ravens (and groovy fluro painted sport-bikes) makes sure I know where my predator is going to strike. As the other guys pointed out, if you dont want your crypt skewed to those 3, you can go the extended hunt option, again, the Nos can reasonably expect to get their eq out because of the stealth. Also, if you mix the animalism just right, you can generally tap your vampires out so that they can take all the equipping actions you need. The other thing that you should consider for a wake-and-block deck are the powerbases, which I dont normally use. But you get 3 of them out, and protect them, and theres 3 pool a turn. Short terms are also great because they fill in for no master card, but you might be running out of room, and we havent even put in combat cards yet. :) <sigh> James B.
