According to the rules, the is a sub-vote involving the Prisci. Is this for any and all votes, or only for votes called by actions. (Is there a sub-vote for wild hunts and blood hunts?) If I have the only Priscus on the table, does that mean it is automatically worth three votes? All help appreciated...

Though since you said automatically worth 3 votes I must point out that certain cards or conditions will void the votes such as Pulling Strings and being in topor. -- Life is Good thanks to God Quicksilver <michae...@lmco.com>

I don't have the Sabbat rules in front of me, so I don't remember if Pulling Strings can be played during the Prisci sub-vote (I don't think it can if I remember right), but I believe it cannot be played after the sub-vote, even if there is only one Priscus, because the votes are considered to come from _all_ Prisci, not any particular Priscus. However, LSJ might want to comment... --- Eric Pettersen pett "at" cgl "dot" ucsf "dot" edu (NeXTmail capable)

Speaking of Prisci, if a Lasombra starts a Political Struggle with a Priscus, and then send the Priscus to torpor, does the Lasombra gain the new votes in the Prisci vote or the normal vote? I would think the latter, unless the Lasombra is already a priscus. -- Robert Granat Lackey of the Schnitzel Industry

In article <628i8p$d...@gap.cco.caltech.edu>, rag...@ugcs.caltech.edu writes [ quoted text not captured ] Card Title: Political Struggle Blood/Pool: n/a Clan/Discip.: Lasombra Card Type: Action Card Text: This is a +1 stealth action. (D) Put this card on a ready vampire. The acting vampire may enter combat with the vampire with this card as a +1 stealth (D) action. If the vampire with this card is burned or sent into torpor, the acting vampire gains X votes, where X is the number of non-contested votes the vampire with this card has; burn this card afterwards. Artist: Patrick Kochakji Rarity: Rare From the errata: Prisci in general have zero votes (for effects that operate based on the number of votes a vampire has). [RTR 970630] Political Struggle works based on the number of votes a vampire has and a Priscus has no votes outside of the Priscus sub-vote. This would also be the case for things like Island of Yiaros which work based on the number of votes a Priscus has. Even if they did get the Prisci votes for the prisci vote, they couldn't cast them since they aren't a priscus. Only Prisci votes can be cast in the prisci vote - this requires you to have a ready Priscus (so that vamp who has an additional vote in the prisci sub-vote can only cast it if you control a ready priscus and not if he, say, Cardinal Benedicts himself and he was your only Priscus). -- James Coupe (remove .nospam to reply by e-mail) If you find you are falling into madness - dive

Correct. Nice work - saves me a lot of typing. Thanks. [ quoted text not captured ]
