Okay we have a question about using Trap.
Can a Majesty stop the Trap as a strike although it says Trap
is played range is determined. Majesty ends combat as a
strike. So what is correct?

Well, Combat Ends (the all powerful stament that it is, at least
according to the DTR) ends all combats, immediately. So, majesty will end the
combat, even if a Trap is played.

Yes, Majesty will stop a trap.
As will a Press to End (unless another Press to Continue is provided
by a card other than the trap).
As will one of the combatants becoming unready (torpored or burned).
Trap does nothing excpet provide one press.
If the combat doesn't reach the press stage, the trap won't get to Press.

Majesty ends combat, Period. When you play Majesty, the combat is over.
That's it. Nothing can stop that. The only way to stop Majesty is to play
Immortal Grapple BEFORE Majesty is played.

Hi Purple,
Hey, thanks for the idea! I have lots of Immortal Grapples, my
Brujah will rejoice as they show those snooty Ventrue a thing or two...
So if I'm controlling the acting vampire (Bums Rush or some such
thing) my card is played first, if another player is controlling the
acting vampire then she could play Majesty before my I.G. Is this correct?

No. Immortal Grapple is played *before* the choose strikes phase, so
it gets played first regardless of who the Acting Minion is.
(Until the DT decides that Majesty takes effect at the start of the round :-)

Peace Algustas,
Negative. IG is played /after/ range is determined (only at close range) and
/before/ either player declares strikes, so it does not matter if you are
the acting or blocking minion.
