'Arika da Ho' just hunted. My 2 Black Hand vampires don't take kindly to that. Can they each play Follow the Blood on her hunt action? Vegas gNat

[ quoted text not captured ] If multiple Meths want to play the card, the resolution order would be: Arika's prey, grandprey, grandpred if different from grandprey, and then predator? I.e. clockwise around the table starting with Arika's prey? Another Q: Let's say the prey wants to play 2 Follow the Blood, and the predator wants to play one as well. Does the prey resolve both of theirs, and if Arika is still standing (ha!), does the predator get to play theirs? Or does the prey get to play one, then the predator, then the prey. I think the former, but I am usually wrong. best - chris -- Super Fun Cards http://myworld.ebay.com/superfuncards/ auct...@superfuncards.com

I think the former, but I am usually wrong. The former. Each time an effect is played, you go back to the start of the sequencing order. -- salem (replace 'hotmail' with 'yahoo' to email)

[ quoted text not captured ] ok, it's late at night so i'm probably missing something, but does this mean that Fast Reaction/Status Prefectus/Coordinated attacks can also be played accordingly. if not, what text prevents this? would it be the lack of 'after resolution' that is on Follow the Blood?

Actually, it's just "clockwise around the table". >> Another Q: Let's say the prey wants to play 2 Follow the Blood, and >> the predator wants to play one as well. [ quoted text not captured ] Fast Reactions don't chain. FR must be played immediately after block-combat. Status Perfectus similarly. Coordinated Attacks chain, and all come before non-combat effect.

[ quoted text not captured ] Since Coordinated attacks chain off eachother, the similarity isnt really there. But could you clarify for me the definitive difference between follow the blood's "only useable when a hunt action is successful, after resolution." - which timing window apparently is still present after the combat from follow the blood as opposed to FR's "Only usable after a combat between a blocking minion you control other than this vampire and the acting minion." which timing window dissapears after the combat which is the result of the FR. Similarily, how long does the timing window exist for the playing of follow the blood cards? Until the next action? Thanks, Bram

I might go look that up. [ quoted text not captured ]

OK, so it is. and that's where i was getting my sequencing from. So, now the question obviously arises, why is "general" sequencing and "block" sequencing different? I'd like to see the block sequencing made the same as the general sequencing, but obviously block eligibility stay the same. For 95% of the time, it will _in effect_ be the same as it currently stands (going clockwise from prey until you find someone who is eligible to block normally leaves you with the predator), but might clean up play a little with people just able to swing their finger around the table asking "blocking?" a lot. rather than left, then right, then around the table. And then doofuses like me won't get the two sequencings mixed up, because there will be only one. Can anyone see any problems with this? [ quoted text not captured ]

OK. I said FR and SP had similarity. CA is different. > But could you clarify for me the definitive difference between follow > the blood's "only useable when a hunt action is successful, after > resolution." - which timing window apparently is still present after > the combat from follow the blood as opposed to FR's "Only usable after > a combat between a blocking minion you control other than this vampire > and the acting minion." which timing window dissapears after the > combat which is the result of the FR. "after action resolution" is all of the action from the time resolution ends until the action is over. "after a combat" means immediately after the combat. > Similarily, how long does the timing window exist for the playing of > follow the blood cards? Until the next action? From the time the action resolves until the action is over.

Because the default blockers move up in the order (while maintaining the order among themselves). Default blockers get first chance to block. > I'd like to see the block sequencing made the same as the general > sequencing, but obviously block eligibility stay the same. That wouldn't be good, or at least, not any better than current.
