What about vampires in the starters. They are vampire reedited but from wich
group? 1,2 and 3?
If they keep their group 1 category it'll be impossible to use them with
camarilla set's vampires and then useless to buy starter. In other way some
vampires from jyhad'll survive and will be useable in every deck.

Not absolutely certain,
but my impression is that all vampires appearing in the Camarilla set will
be set "3" including any reprints (if any).
(otherwise it defeats the purpose of printing a new base set that people can
open a starter of and begin playing)

There's been hints of a couple reprinted Vamps in the starters.
It would be a fair guess that if Smudge were to show up in a starter
that he'd receive a group 2 designation. Otherwise he'd be unplayable
with the starter he was included into. That would be silly.

Thus, assuming Emerson Bridges got reprinted, would he be Group 1 or
Group 3, depending on the Set you draw him from? Group 1 if he is
Jyhad/Vtes version, and then Group 3 if he is CE version? Well, that
*would* be an incentive to buy the new starters, wouldn't it?

In fact, according to an European source (posted on the VtES_Quebec
list), the vampires in the starters are as follow:
|The set will include 6 precons (Brujah, Malkavian, Nosferatu,
|Toreador, Tremere, and Ventrue). Each precon contains 9 reprinted
|vampires (the signature characters from Final Nights plus the eight
|Camarilla vampires of each clan printed in Dark Sovereigns and
|Ancient Hearts) and 3 new vampires. None of the base set (Group 1)
|vampires are reprinted here. All of the new vampires are also
|available in the boosters.
So, my guess is that the reprints will be Group 2 (as they should),
while the new ones will be Group 3. They mix just fine in this case
(remember that the starters are made to be fully functionnal), and
solving accessibility problem with DS and AH cards (if it exists for
newbies not connected to the Internet, eBay or the Succubus Club, that
is).
The reserve I have is: "how well vampires from DS, AH and FN are gonna
mix with those of Group 3, discipline-wise?"... Some have pretty
standard discipline mix (ex: Ranjan Rishi), but others are more...
troublesome (Daliyah for instance).
Incidentally, if there are no PRO cards in the starters (since the
Gangrel are out of the Camarilla Edition Set, and the PDF list file
states "focusing on only ten disciplines"), the starters *would* get
some vampires with some unusable disciplines (Etrius, Daliyah and
Greger Anderssen for instance, since they have PRO). Any else you
might think about? Murat and Suhaliah (SER)? Akram (QUI)?
Am I right in assuming that the starters won't have non-Camarilla
disciplines?

Sir Ralph Hamilton has Serpentis.
