This is a pretty stupid question but I need an answer.. My vampire plays majesty to end combat. Does the opposing player have the ability to play a strike card even if combat ends. I understand that combat never actually gets to the damage phase but does the opposing player's vamp get the opportunity to play a card?

The Complete Rules Reference has a great summary of the order of combat that clears up how these things happen... It was posted to the newsgroup on 2/4/98. Regards, R. Both players' strikes are announced (and cards played) before either strike (including any strike: combat ends strikes) start to resolve. -- L.
