This is another general question, using a specific example. Praxis Seizure: Stockholm says that if the Prince is a Malkavian, he gains +1 Capacity. 1) If the vampire already had this title (i.e. Greger Anderssen calling this vote, or someone else who has already passed PS: Stockholm), does he still gain the +1 Cap even if his title doesn't change? 1a) What if the vote is called multiple times? (Greger calls Praxis Seizure Stockholm on himself 3 turns in a row, and it passes each time. Does he gain +3 Capacity?) 2) If the vampire _loses_ the title, does he lose the +1 Cap? Thanks again.

Yes. He loses his old title and gains the new (same) title, plus the capacity-increasing-clan-based-effect. > 1a) What if the vote is called multiple times? > (Greger calls Praxis Seizure Stockholm on himself 3 turns > in a row, and it passes each time. Is the capacity increasing effect constantly checked, or is it only checked at the time of the Praxis vote? #1. If Gregor calls PS: Stockholm (and gains +1 cap) and then Clan Impersonates to Ventrue, does he still have the +1 cap? #2. If Gideon Fontaine calls a PS: Stockholm (as a Ventrue) and then later Clan Impersonates to a Malkavian, does he get the +1 cap? Thanks! Halcyan 2

If the effect is checked "constantly," why doesn't he get the capacity when he *becomes* a Malkavian? Am I misreading something here? That's "No" to both questions, right? Seems like it's a double standard, then, that it checks constantly to to see if the capacity drains away, but only checks to see if you get the capacity at the time the vote passes. -- Pat Ricochet Soul Jar'rn Fool of Atlanta

I misread the sample questions. It checks constantly - any time you're a malk, you get +1 cap (as long as you have the title). Any time you're not a malk, you don't. [ quoted text not captured ]
