hi ! i was thinking of the applications of the renewed thaumaturgy strikes. i'm still curious about the wording from superior "Skin of the adder" " This vampire [prevent one damage eacj round ] and his hand strikes inflicts an additional damage." why is the wording different from, say, fist of death or strength of the bear ? why not +1 strength ? maybe to avoid interaction with melee weapon like Garrote or wooden stake ? anyway here are the scenarios : - Kemintry plays sup skin of the adder then sup blood rage (now a hand strike). How much damage does she inflict ? 2 (i guess not) or 3 (should be logical) ? -Samantha plays blood rage : does she inflict 1 aggravated damage unpreventable by fortitude ? (is it a kewlkombo Tm paired with amaranth and gangrel conspiracy ?) -blythe in combat with Ozzy plays superior blood rage : i guess she inflicts only one damage ? thank you !

Yes. It is designed to mimic the fangs that can be grown with that power in the RPG. So only hand strikes (read: bites) receive the bonus. You'll still get the occasional odd interaction (with, say, Wolf Claws), but this being a card game, you have to accept some of that. > anyway here are the scenarios : > > - Kemintry plays sup skin of the adder then sup blood rage (now a hand > strike). So SotA means it inflicts an additional damage. > -Samantha plays blood rage : does she inflict 1 aggravated damage > unpreventable by fortitude ?
