A minion who enters combat with another minion protected by Spiritual Protector (via Bum's Rush, or Haven Uncovered) would be able to use equipment in the combat, since no one is blocking, right? -- L. Wrong. Blocking or being blocked is long hand for `entered combat with'. It has been ruled this way in the past for cards, and I see no reason why it shouldn't be this way for Spiritual Protector as well. > -- > L. Wrong-o. Blocking or being blocked is very different from entering combat, although the former leads to the latter. If Duck takes an action and is blocked, the vampire blocking him is tapped and they enter combat. If Duck Bum's Rushes the same vampire, they enter combat but the vampire being Rushed is *not* tapped. No one is blocked or blocking. -- Tom Doehne doe...@cse.ogi.edu
