I'm sure some of these have been brought up before, but with the constanly changing rules and netreps, I'd like to reconfirm some things. 1) Can the superior form of bonding be used if you need the stealth for a non-bleeding action? (I'm quite sure it can.) 2) If a round of combat, in which a drawing out the beast has been played ends prematurely (strike: combat ends), would the opposing minion still take the unprevenatable damage from the superior form of DOtB? (The card isn't very clear, simply saying "at the end of the round".) 3) What exactly carries over with a mask of a thousand faces? (eg. Laptop, Backways, action modifiers, etc)? Second, if Marty Lactancia, for example, masks a Return to Innocence that Agripina started, which vampire burns, and how much is the bleed for? 4) Bauble says "You may burn this card and the chosen equipment card during your untap phase or when the vampire with the chosen equipment leaves the active region." Do you have to burn this card when one of the vampires leaves play? 5) Have the withdrawl rules officially changed with The Sabbat, and if so how? Thanks very much Dallas Card

No. You cannot play bleed-modifiers on non-bleed actions. >2) If a round of combat, in which a drawing out the beast has been played ends >prematurely (strike: combat ends), would the opposing minion still take the >unprevenatable damage from the superior form of DOtB? Whenever the round ends (by whatever means), Beast's effect takes place. >3) What exactly carries over with a mask of a thousand faces? (eg. Laptop, Backways, > action modifiers, etc)? Second, if Marty Lactancia, for example, masks a Return to >Innocence that Agripina started, which vampire burns, and how much is the bleed for? Action modifiers which aren't applied to the minion (by to the action) will carry over. Equipment will not carry over. Backways (being applied to the minion, not the action) will not carry over. RtI produces a bleed based on the acting vampire's capacity - if the acting vampire changes, so does the bleed amount. >4) Bauble says "You may burn this card and the chosen equipment card during your >untap phase or when the vampire with the chosen equipment leaves the active region." >Do you have to burn this card when one of the vampires leaves play? Since it is played "on" the acting vampire, it will automatically be burned if the acting vampire is burned. >5) Have the withdrawl rules officially changed with The Sabbat, and if so how? Yes. If you begin your turn with fewer card in your hand than your hand capacity due to having exhausted your library, you are out of the game. No one gets a victory point for your withdrawal, and no one gains any pool as a reward. -- L. As a related question to the question about Bonding... Can the inferior form of Fata Morgana (just +1 stealth) be used on a non-bleeding action? There's no actual bleed modifier involved in the *effect*, but the overarching card text has that "after playing this card you may not play any further bleed modifiers..." Daniel Levine

[ quoted text not captured ] Yes. The "after playing this..." text applies only to the superior (errata). -- L. Scott Johnson (sjoh...@math.sc.edu) | * <-- Tribble http://www.math.sc.edu/cgi-bin/sjohnson/home | o <-- Jean-Luc Tribble [ quoted text not captured ]
