how do I request an errata on a card??? I would like to see the card "corruption" with at least the possibility to target vampire of my prey or predator, and may be another corruption card which cost more and can target any minion!

If you want errata, demonstrate the need for errata (by reason of imbalance in the game or whatever other reasons can be cobbled together to achieve the necessity of errata as a conclusion). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Start whining and complaining on this board, the WW board(s) and bug LSJ privately. DO NOT try to convince other people with well tought out and eloquently written arguments. That's the way everybody keeps doing it anyway :-) > I would like to see the card "corruption" with at least the > possibility to target vampire of my prey or predator, and may be > another corruption card which cost more and can target any minion! good start: no arguments whatsoever....

I admit that this would make corruption decks more viable (not completely screwed if the prey is playing with big vamps only) but I don't think that this is enough to warrant an errata. I think that a better approach would be to print cards in the future that help building viable corruption decks. some ideas: Master 1 Followers of Set 1 pool Unique Master Put this card in play. You may tap this card when a minion successfully attempts a (D) action against you to put a corruption counter on that minion. (burn clause) Master 2 Followers of Set Unique master Put this card in play. Minions with any of your corruption counters have -1 bleed when bleeding you. (burn clause). Reaction Serpentis 1 blood [ser] The action vampire gets +1 stealth, put a corruption counter on the acting minion and tap this reacting vampire. The acting vampire may cancel the efects of this card by burning one blood. [SER] As [ser] but the acting minion cannot cancel this card. Combat 1 Serpentis [ser] Burn a corruption counter from the opposing minion to prevent one damage. [SER] Before range is chosen, burn a corruption counter from the opposing minion to end combat. just some rough ideas.

[ quoted text not captured ] Corruption may be a really weak strategy, but there are a number of cards in the game that, thankfully, only work against one's prey. Thankfully, because minion screw against your predator is so much more powerful. Brainwash? In general, just reduces pressure on your grandprey. If predator targetable, every deck in existence should run copious amounts. Seeds of Corruption, Gisela, etc. are similar. Anyway, I'm happy Corruption is a weak strategy. Steal vampire effects don't tend towards balance, especially permanent steal. If good enough to bother with, then they tend to be huge swing effects in games when they happen.

I however insistantly suggest that you get your prince's approval, and personnal cash investment, prior to this. I think you should pm Kamel on this topic. I will remember you that a Ferrari was evoked as a prize for the Paris Jyhad League in 2000 (at the time, the former prince was so much ahead of the second player that he could not reasonnably be beaten). However, the prince and winner decided at the end that he couldn't afford such a gift, even if it was destinated to himself. So yes, perhaps, you will get a Ferrari

Well then... I'd like errata on PTO please... My vampires always get burned by it, doing more harm to me than benefit to the voter, screwing my game disproportionally. Getting my Ur-Shulgy burned because someone crosstable wanted to "cycle" makes me somewhat anxious... Please? *whine-whine* ;) Bye, Daneel

[ quoted text not captured ] in fact idea that I have was to select the cards made in the past which are not use at all in tournaments....and there are a lot! I took the example of corruption to see how you will react to an errata and to a change to the corruption cards. Thanks to LSJ for his official response which teach me that there is a way to request an errata and thanks a lot to hawk for his ideas. To answer to LSJ, I have never seen a person playing corruption here (tournament or other), I think the card is too restrictif, only the prey as a target with a clan which has only few defense possibilities !!! I love setite it his one of the only clan card I never used in a deck because of this prey limitation! Hawk ideas : Master 1 Followers of Set 1 pool Unique Master Put this card in play. You may tap this card when a minion successfully attempts a (D) action against you to put a corruption counter on that minion. (burn clause) AGAINST ONE OF THE CARD YOU CONTROL Master 2 Followers of Set Unique master Put this card in play. Minions with any of your corruption counters have -1 bleed when bleeding you. (burn clause). AS LONG AS THE CORRUPTION CAN ONLY TARGET THE PREY I DON'T SEE THE INTEREST! OK Combat 1 Serpentis [ser] Burn a corruption counter from the opposing minion to prevent one damage. [SER] Before range is chosen, burn a corruption counter from the opposing minion to end combat. OK AND FUN

just to clarify, these were just quick and dirty examples on how it might be possible to expand the corruption strategy, I was not considering game balance at all (which requires playtesting anyway). cure wrote: > Hawk ideas : > Master 1 > Followers of Set > 1 pool > Unique Master > Put this card in play. > You may tap this card when a minion successfully attempts a (D) action > against you to put a corruption counter on that minion.
