[ quoted text not captured ] You don't replace the Master : "Shock troops" until its effect are applied. You can create up to your max hand size minus 1.

Remember you must announce the terms of a master card when you play it. You must tell which vampire you target and how much blood you move the moment you play minion tap ; You must specify on which vampire you'll play your Society of Lepold. Following the same Pattern, you must say how many shock troopers you attempt to put into play when playing Shock troops ;) reyda

You play the card, announce that you are going to put X+1 Shock Trooper into play (where X is number of disciplinecards in hand), see if someone sudden reverses it, draw a card and hope it's a disciplincard? I can't imagine that this is legal, but I've got to ask. And what happens if you don't draw that disciplin? It fizzles?

Put X Master: Discipline cards from your hand into play. These cards represent clanless Sabbat vampires of 1 capacity with those respective Disciplines and do not count as Master: Discipline cards while in play. These vampires are not unique, must hunt the turn they are created, have -1 stealth on all actions and cannot attempt bleeds or political actions. And you can replace cards as normal during you're master phase so the loop could be done unless I'm overlooking some thing. Perhaps LSJ could shine his light on this one. You have announced the number of Shock Troops you would like before you can replace it. >Perhaps LSJ could shine his light on this one. He already has. You receive a warning from the judge for misplaying / misrepresenting the state of the game, then it goes back into your hand, the card you drew goes back into your deck, and you are assessed a penalty for gaining knowledge of the rest of your deck illegally. You must pay the cost when you play the card. Therefore, you must decide what X is when you play the card. ><Master.> Requires a ready archbishop or cardinal. >Put X Master: Discipline cards from your hand into play. And then the next thing you do, after playing the card, is resolve the effect. Some effects, like actions or strikes, take time to resolve. But almost all master cards are resolved instantly, before anything else happens, and before any replacing is done. Once you replace your master card, the effect is finished.
