Quick question: Brujah Debate - Do Brujah receive X additional maneuvers in each combat where X is the number of Brujah Debate in play just as they receive +X strength? or just 1 additional maneuver regardless of how many Brujah Debate are in play? Thanks in advance Alex Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/

I have a deck originally called "Brujah Debates Stack," renamed to the "Brujah Filibuster" (credit to BJ Campbell, the Hammer), that relies on that very wonder of X maneuvers and +X hand damage. I'm pretty sure they do stack, and wait with baited breath for LSJ's response. =) -- Pat Ricochet Soul Jar'rn Fool of Atlanta

Does this also mean you have to tap X Brujah? [ quoted text not captured ]

Only when there are two ore more who are of the same generation do you have the choice to tap more than one (for whatever reason you would want to do that...) Brujah Debate [DS] Cardtype: Master Clan: Brujah Cost: 1 pool Master. Put this card in play. Each Methuselah with a ready Brujah must tap [(one of)] the highest capacity Brujah he or she controls during his or her master phase. Each Brujah gets +1 <strength> and an optional maneuver each combat. This card may be burned by any minion who is not Ventrue as a (D) action.

So, presuming there is no way to untap in your master phase, the only way to gain the benefit of multiple Brujah debates is to have multiple Brujah of the same ( highest ) capacity? No. What he's saying is that no matter how many Brujah Debates you play, you only have tap one Brujah. Say you have 5 Brujah Debates in play and you have 4 Brujah (two 8 caps, a 6 cap and a 4 cap) you tap one of the 8 cap vampires five times and the other vampires (8 cap, 6 cap and 4 cap) are free to go about their business as normal. The same thing happens with Toreador Grand Ball. Multiple masters can target the same vampire, barring specific card text. In article <93g4at$eje$1...@nnrp1.deja.com>, [ quoted text not captured ] Don't presume that. It will be wrong. See the clarified online text here: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/Cardlist_B.html#Brujah_Debate Brujah Debate [DS] Cardtype: Master Clan: Brujah Cost: 1 pool Master. Notice that the card doesn't say the highest capacity Brujah has to be untapped during your master phase for you to choose them. If you had a high capacity Brujah tapped from Sensory Deprivation, for example, you could choose that vampire for each and every Brujah Debate you managed to put into play. (You could also choose that same vampire every tapping it for a prior BD.) Carpe Noctem. And while I'm sure most Toreadors love dancing, having so many dance partners is a sure invitation to disaster. Halcyan 2

(You could > also choose that same vampire every tapping it for a prior BD.) Correct. You would generally tap the same Brujah X times. Tapping a tapped vampire (like burning blood from an empty vampire) has no effect. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Ah, ok, I wan't aware that you can tap ( voluntarily or otherwise ) an already tapped vampire ( does that mean I have to rotate the card 90 degrees again ? :) [ quoted text not captured ]

And, since Brujah Debate says to tap him, you get to ignore that effect. If Brujah Debat said "tap him or burn this Debate", then you wouldn't be able to ignore the effect and would have to burn the Debate (having failed to tap him). If it said "tap him to give each Brujah +1 strength and an optional maneuver each combat until your next untap phase", then ignoring the effect would result in no effect - no benefit for your Brujah. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
