[ quoted text not captured ] Eagle' Sight for sure, it needs certain skills, but if you're good, it is one of the strongest cards in the game. By the way: I hate it.

Yes, I can track such things. ;) Enjoy. I'm voting for Telepathic Misdirection. I don't think that anyone could realistically claim that it *isn't* the best Auspex card. Bounce and flexibility of intercept? Super, duper strong. I'm not a big block/ wall deck kinda player, which certainly may cloud my view, but I use more Telepathic Misdirections in more decks than any other Auspex card ever. Often in decks that have no other Auspex card in them. Bleed bounce is just that good. -Peter

I hate auspex wall decks, but this doesn't change the fact that eagles sight is the strongest card. But if it comes to the question what my favourite auspex card is, then it is: Revelation

(Or at least thought I did, my votes seems to have hung my browser...) For 2 reasons: 1st, it's free compared to TM; second, being able to be involved all around the table is strong. But it was very close. best - chris

Yes, I can track such things. ;) Enjoy. I'm voting the Eyes of Argus for the sheer efficiency of the card. Another +2 intercept card that can be used together with Enhanced Senses (unlike how Into Thin Air is restricted from being used together with the other +2 stealth card, Lost in Crowds) that is free (unlike Forgotten Labyrinth) and quite easy to cycle (and makes it hard for the opponent to selectively exhaust intercept or wake-type cards). -- Regards, Daneel

It depends entirely on the deck in question. Telepathic Misdirection is definitely the one that I've used the most, so it probably fits some definitions of "best." John Eno

[ quoted text not captured ] IAWTP. I see several people mentioning Eagle, but I thought about all the decks I've made, and only Telepathic Misdirection has gone into every one that has a large amount of crypt AUS (unless they also had dom/DOM). Eagle's Sight is probably the best card in an AUSpex deck, but I can't agree that it's the best auspex card. In a deck that either doesn't want to block, or doesn't want to fight, Eagle loses a lot of it's lustre. I don't have any KoT yet, so I can't say for sure whether Eyes of Argus will be heavily utilised. It likely will be, but I doubt it'll exceed the TM's. Morgan Vening

TM is good, but at superior AUS, 1 blood, and tap, it definitely has its costs... Eyes of Argus is just sick.

Yeah, Eagle's Sight is certainly a strong card, except by itself, it rarely has much impact (as being able to block cross table without other intercept isn't often that hot), and a lot of time, I find having the Eagle's Sight just gets you in more trouble than it is worth. Again, it is certainly a solid, strong card. But generally needs a deck built around it (which is likely an intercept heavy deck, as otherwise, the Eagle's Sight isn't helping that much, and I'm not a big fan of intercept heavy decks, but again, me). Telepathic Misdirection, however, is always going to be good to have (assuming reliable AUS), even in the Eagle's Sight deck. -Peter

[ quoted text not captured ] The most overlooked Auspex card is Blessed Audience.

I think Eyes of Argus is certainly one of the strongest (if not *the* strongest) Auspex cards to be printed in the last few (many?) years. But the inability to use the intercept on non D actions (or whatever the disadvantage is--something like that) makes it not super great all the time like, say, Telepathic Misdirection. But if you have an all AUS crypt? No need to use any other wake type effect. Which makes me feel dumb, as I just started a JOL game with an all AUS crypt, and didn't replace all of my wake cards with Eyes of Argus... -Peter

But when you use it you realize its limitations : - the intercept part is useless on non-directions actions (luckily) - the "wake" part requires a superior discipline, isn't playable by allies, and is the only such card that can be cancelled by action modifiers (Obf and Chi), which will seldom happen but can be devastating. Not to mention that if you wake with one, you won't be able to play a second one for intercept, but of course you couldn't intercept with a Wake either lol. Still, it is very strong. The novelty of it would tempt me to vote for it. But Telepathic Misdi is still the strongest IMO too. I agree that Blessed Audience is the most underestimated though. Just ask unblocable Alexandra... I wonder - and this isn't a leading question, as I'm not sure of my own answer - if there's a different answer to two questions. 1) What's the best Auspex card in a deck where Auspex isn't the focus (but most vampires have enough of it to do something)? Say, Toreador Presence bleed or something like AAA, which isn't using all that much Auspex most of the time, but could be persuaded to add some. 2) What's the best Auspex card in a deck where Auspex is very much the focus? And probably wall-ish. I think for non-focus, you make a compelling argument for Telepathic Misdirection. For an Auspex-heavy wall, I wonder if it's still the best Auspex card in the deck. Eagle Sight is pretty good in focus/walled, much less good in unfocused decks. Eyes of Argus is (I think) reasonable in unfocused decks - though you miss quite a few key undirected actions, obviously - but really very good in focused/wall decks. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D YOU ARE IN ERROR. Telepathic Misdirection for my money. And it'll only start looking better once people get enough copies of Touch of Clarity to run a full contingent in their decks (why, oh why was this card made a rare...) Eyes of Argus is still super-flash however.

And also allows the playing of Deflection/TM afetr the continued bleed goes through...... [ quoted text not captured ]
