If the vampire with Chanjelin Ward on it burns the Ward to cause an action directed at it to fail, does that action still cost the performing vampire an additional blood? I'm not sure if the correct argument is that it does, because you still pay costs of actions that fail, as long as they're unblocked, or that it doesn't, because when the action is paid for (right after the Ward is burned to fail it), the Ward is no longer in play and so can't affect the action's cost (at time of resolution). Text: "Actions directed at this vampire cost an additional blood. This vampire can burn this card to cause an action directed at him or her to fail." Thanks, Josh chanjin' it up
