Something that has come up a lot lately in our playgroup. Most recently one of our number created a monster with Aching Beauty and Change of Targets which posed the question of requirements. 1. Anson had 2 aching beauties on him (and was due for some more) and was quite rightly deranged - do the aching beauties still kick in even though his is now a raving nutter ? 2. This also applies to a few other cards, (most of which escape me) Sword of Judgement is one. Does the same rule apply to all of them or do masters have different requirements than minion cards ?? Thanks Rob T --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.166 / Virus Database: 79 - Release Date: 20/06/00

No. Card text on Aching Beauty says that the controller of the blocker burn a pool when "this Toreador is blocked". Since he is not a Toreador, no effect occurs. > 2. Master/minion doesn't matter. Card text is all that matters for these cases. If it says "this vampire", then it applies even if the vampire changes clan. If it says "this Brujah Antitribu", then it only applies when "this vampire" is a Brujah Antitribu. The clan symbol (if any) on the card is only "checked" when the card is played. Once in play, card text determines how the card functions. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
