This is my second text for questions... Many of theese question's is explaining themselves, but you can't fry me for ask? Do you? DO YOU? ARGH... 1. Do something at all stopping me from using Camille AND Raven in the same time? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. Last answer to the question "Can I burned Shackles Of Enkidu before it really have been used?" was a bit fuzzy, Can I? 2b. To Burn Shackles is a D action, may i burn it if it's putted on me? Even If I cannot do D action's to myself? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3. Do Dog Pack and Ghoul retainer have any errata? Do I pay the cost's with Pool and not blood? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4. Carlotta Giovanni and other Giovanni's can bring back burned card's from the ash heap. Some card's definitly say that they go out-of-game when they are used. Is then the burned card's in ash heap still consiederd to be "In play" and can i trade my ashheap to another methusalah? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5. Skin Of Steel still declare's "opponent's strikes", who is the other opponent? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ŻŻ 6. If Mariel Lady thunder tap's to end combat between a vampire and an ally, and she have a Memories Of Mortality on her, does the ally take one damage or not? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 7. The rule book (Jyhad AND Vtes) only declare that I MAY use my prevent card's in damage phase, So may I use prevent card's to prevent damage that is made outside of strike resolution? Consider the following: Riposte say that the damage is unpreventable (so why can I prevent it anyway?) ŻŻ Mariel Lady thunder's damage is not unpreventible ŻŻŻ Wheter Control damage is unpreventible (so why can I prevent it anyway?) ŻŻ Pulled Fangs damage is not unpreventible ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ŻŻŻ 8. Catonic Fear must be misspelled. There is no strike resolution at all considering the Vtes AND Jyhad rulebook if one part in combat use S:CE. If this is changed and Riposte IS dealing damage DURING STRIKE RESOULTION: Pulled Fangs damage is done after the last strike resoultion before the press phase, May I use it? Disarm is used after the last strike resoultion before the press phase, May I use it? May I Use decapacitate-taste of vitae with Catonic Fear - riposte ? If I Attack with Wynn having 4 murder of crow's and Earth Meld, do I still do 4 damage "during strike resolution" ? Do the full round of combat don't include strike resolution? Drawing Out The Beast damage do damage AFTER the strike resoultion, in the end of the round, Right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 9. The Vtes version of Smiling Jack also deal damage to the owner of Smiling Jack AND cost's pool... Is this a typo? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10. May I choose to prevent only the aggrevated damage from a strike? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 29. Is Erosion the same as -1 Hand Damage or is all + damage reduced to 0?

When a card says (cannot be prevented) in parentheses - it is merely reminding you of the facts. Scott properly answers no to that. However, I think Staffan is really asking "If someone else puts Shackles on my minion, how can I burn them since burning them is a (D) action and you can't do (D) actions to yourself?" No. There hasn't been a ruling directed at this exact question, and the Rules Team doesn't always make the obvious rulings. As for Mr. Wilkie's response - he says that an Archbishop who becomes a Camarilla is still an Archbishop. He doesn't say that the vampire is still Sabbat. (He does offer a WoD explanation that may lead one to think that the vampire is both, but WotC has proven before that they know better than to let WoD create unweildly situations in the card game.) Just as you can't belong to two clans at the same time, you can't belong to two sects at the same time. Although John can be an Archbishop and a member of the Camarilla at the same time, as soon as he gets another title, he loses all other titles. Therefore, when he becomes Prince, he'd stop being Archbishop. Roleplayign explanation? He masquerading as Camarilla, while secretly running the Sabbat in Lisbon. This isn't too improbable; in a campaign we're running now, the Tremere just appointed Pontifex of the city is secretly an Infernal Sabbat Diablorist! ----- L.
