Can you play Bribes on a vote you are calling that will pass with a Cryptic/Malk Rider Clause? Can't see any reason why no but thought it was worth checking :-) If so, is the vote phase skipped in this case so that only the acting Meth can gain pool?

From the online rulings: Cryptic Rider: No voting occurs during the automatic referendum, and most "during a political action" effects cannot be used. Any effects that operate on the number of votes that the referendum passed by have no effect. [LSJ 19980107] -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. [LSJ 19980107] Oops missed the "durgin referendum" bit (well actually I checked it and realised I couldn't then promptly forgot and asked the question anyway.. hey-ho.) While I'm on the subject here's another one: Can you play more than one Malk Rider Clause on a referendum (with different Malks)? If you play multiple Malk Rider Clauses in succession (without using their effects) do they all resolve at once on the next referendum you call? (as opposed to lining up and triggering on successive referenda you call) Can you play a chain of Cryptic Riders? (ie Cryptic Rider a PA passing due to a previous Cryptic Rider)

Yes. >If you play multiple Malk Rider Clauses in succession (without using >their effects) do they all resolve at once on the next referendum you >call? (as opposed to lining up and triggering on successive referenda >you call) All Malkavian Rider Clauses in play are burned on the first political action called by the controller of the card. Pertinent card text: "the next referendum". No delay allowed. LSJ 2000-05-31 http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=8h302c%243ne%241%40nnrp1.deja.com >Can you play a chain of Cryptic Riders?
