...Al-Ashrad can no longer burn down Zoo Hunting Grounds, Ecoterrorists, or Backways :)

What happen if you play group 1 or 2 . Is it considered camarilla locations ?

[ quoted text not captured ] No. Even if all the Gangrel in play are Camarilla, their locations "require an Independent clan" by the current rules.

Still, an unfortunate side effect. Here's hoping for an advanced Al-Ashrad with a better ability and more appropriate (but equally cool) art... Go Snelly!!!

I doubt that this will have that much of an effect. I mean, similarly, all the Acceptance cards allow their clan locations to be targeted by Al as well. And honestly, I've never heard any stories about Al-Ashrad burning the Fortune Teller Shop after the Ravnos were accepted into the Camarilla... Halcyan 2

This is such a nonsense, because if Camarilla Gangrels are able to play those locations, how can it become independent? Will Al-Ashrad be able to burn down Ravnos locations now? Another stupid thing is that "default sect" for clans. Sorry if I play EMBRANCE with old Camarilla Gangrel, how can the child become independent? The child should follow it's sire.

Sorry, but is there anywhere written "Camarilla > Location"? No, not even on Al-Ashrad's card text. Al-Ashrads card text says "Camarilla Clan". The list of Camarilla Clan *is* detailed in the rulebook. [10.1] > This is such a nonsense, because if Camarilla Gangrels are > able to play those locations, how can it become independent? Will It (the location) doesn't "become" independent. Locations don't have sect (that would be stupid). Vampires have sect. Clans have sect. Just because a given Gargoyle is Camarilla or Sabbat doesn't change the fact that the Gargoyle clan is independent. Similarly the Gangrel clan. > Al-Ashrad be able to burn down Ravnos locations now? ? No. Ravnos is not a Camarilla Clan. [10.1] > Another stupid thing is that "default sect" for clans. This is such a nonsense, because if Camarilla Gangrels are >able to play those locations, how can it become independent? The same way that any other non-default sect card is played. For instance, a Giovanni with a Writ of Acceptance (Camarilla, default of clan is Independent) is still capable of being the Giovanni you use to allow you to play The Mausoleum. Lucita (Independent, default of clan is Sabbat) is still capable of being the Lasombra you use to allow you to play Power Structure, and is still capable of equipping herself with San Nicolás de los Servitas. Anka, Priestess of Thorns (Sabbat, default of clan is Independent), is still capable of allowing you to play a Park Hunting Ground, acquiring a Treasured Samadji or playing (or benefiting from) Patshiv. Angela Preston (Camarilla, default of clan is Independent); Delilah Monroe (Sabbat, default of clan is Independent); or Gael Pilet (Independent, default of clan is Independent) are all capable of playing Concert Tour or benefiting from the Paris Opera House or letting you play it. And so on. The Gangrel from Groups 1 and 2 are (will be) simply different to the default status of the clan. Everything functions just as it would for the above. Just because you have Angela Preston, Celeste and Muse in play doesn't allow Al-Ashrad to burn down the Paris Opera House. And just as similarly, if Angela creates a little baby vampire, that vampire is Independent. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D Lucky that my breasts are small and humble, EBD690ECD7A1FB457CA2 So you don't confuse them with mountains. 13D7E668C3695D623D5D

I've never even heard any stories about the Ravnos being accepted into the Camarilla at all. Has anyone actually bothered to do this? :) salem.
