I ran into a grey area the other day. Here is the situation. A vampire with master protean, attempts to bleed, gets blocked and goes into combat. As my strike form of mist. (continue action at +1 stealth). He then plays fast reactions with another vampire. Should it hapen like plan A B or C? Plan A: I must enter combat which taps me, and I loose my +1 Stealth and can not continue my action after this combat is over. Plan B: He is unable to play fast reactions. Plan C: I must enter combat and after combat I can continue my action at +1 Stealth. Thanks Dave

[ quoted text not captured ] Almost plan A. But you keep the +1 stealth (important if you use another Form of Mist in the combat resulting from Fast Reaction). Any "force combat" effect will cancel and/or negate any "continue action" effect (although doing a "continue action" when the action was "force combat" will re-start the combat). Negating the "continue action" effect will not, however, negate the added stealth imparted by Form of Mist. -- L. The FoM never untapped you, but otherwise this is the official ruling. >Plan B: >He is unable to play fast reactions. No, he can definitely play it. >Plan C: >I must enter combat and after combat I can continue my action at +1 Stealth. This is the literal reading of the cards. After the FoM you are continuing the action. FR forces combat but does not block; there's nothing in the rules that says entering combat blocks an action. Curt Adams (curt...@aol.com)
