Is it possible to use Rotschreck out of combat. It says it ends combat, but does that mean it is only usable in combat? e.g. My predator has a tapped vampire and attempts to use force of will to untap, bleed and take a point (or two) of aggravated damage (later). Can I use this as an opportunity to use Rotschreck? As I read it I can as the attempt to bleed, could also be viewed as an attempt to inflict aggravated damage on a minion (itself). any thoughts? It is combat-only, by the (extended) errata: Rotschreck - Master Out-Of-Turn * Should be read as follows: "Play on a vampire that attempts to inflict aggravated damage in combat. Combat ends, and that vampire goes into torpor. During the vampire's controller's next untap phase, burn this card instead of untapping the vampire." [RTR 960112] It cannot be used in response to Force of Will. -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. (*) - Subject to review by Rules Team
