Hello! Here are some of the problems we have in my group, could someone help me: 1. If 'charnas the imp' is already in play, may I employ another one so as to contest it immediatly? 2. If I have 'charnas the imp' on one of my vampire, may another of my minion try to take it on him as a +1 stealth action? Who can block then? its controller or my predator and prey? 3. I played a blood fury on a vampire who attempted to strike me with a weapon. If this vampire 'blurs' then: he deals no damage whatever he does or he can deal damage if he uses a non-weapon strike? 4. If a minion attempted to strike me with 'bang-nakh' and I play a 'fast hands' at superior level, can the first minion inflict normal hand damage? 5. May I play fame on a vampire already in torpor? 6. May I play 'taste ao vitae' or 'pulled fangs' during a strike-resolution phase or should I wait until the end of the combat round (i.e.: may I play it before my opponent 'blurs')? Thanks in advance. You still have to choose a minion to put Charnas on. The controller of that minion becomes the would-be controller of Charnas, and chooses whether to contest or yield (guess which :-), unless she is the only Meth left with Charnas. > 2. No. Retainers cannot be traded in this way. (Try Heidelburg) > 3. I played a blood fury on a vampire who attempted to strike >me with a weapon. No. Despite the horrid vtes template for melee weapons, they are still treated exactly as if they say "Strike: +N hand damage". > 5. May I play fame on a vampire already in torpor? No. Card text. > 6. Taste may be played at any time, and only counts up damage inflicted so far this round. Fangs can only be played after all the current round's strikes that are going to resolve have been resolved. -- L. > 1. If 'charnas the imp' is already in play, may I employ >another one so as to contest it immediatly? You could contest him, but you have to pay the contest yourself. > 2. If I have 'charnas the imp' on one of my vampire, may another >of my minion try to take it on him as a +1 stealth action? Who can block >then? its controller or my predator and prey? The only way to get rid of Charnas is to: 1. Kill him with another of your minions, like Mariel Lady Thunder... 2. Die, then you can put him on another minion of your choose. > 3. I played a blood fury on a vampire who attempted to strike >me with a weapon. If this vampire 'blurs' then: he deals no damage >whatever he does or he can deal damage if he uses a non-weapon strike? Blood Fury only prevent you from thetting hit by weapons... If the opposing minion do more strikes this round he still dont do any damage with weapon's. He can still, howevver, use normal hand strikes. > 4. If a minion attempted to strike me with 'bang-nakh' and I play >a 'fast hands' at superior level, can the first minion inflict normal hand >damage? No. When choosing your strike you have the folowing alternatives: 1. Strike with a weapon 2. Strike with your hands 3. use a strike card. When the strike card is played, and it contains "use your melee weapon or hands at +X damage" (such as Undead Strength) you have to declare if you strike with your weapon or your hands. > 5. May I play fame on a vampire already in torpor? Ready means that he is faced up and not in torpor. > 6. May I play 'taste ao vitae' or 'pulled fangs' during a >strike-resolution phase or should I wait until the end of the combat round >(i.e.: may I play it before my opponent 'blurs')? taste of Vitae can be used anytime during the round to emiedetly "get an amount of blood equal to the amount of blood lost by the opposing vampire". This means that you can hit your opponent for 2 damage, Use taste of Vitae and gain 2 blood (he have lost 2 blood so far). the you can use a nimble feet to do an adittional strike. hit him for 2 more and he have lost 4 blood. Use then an taste Of Vitae to gain an adittional 4 blood.
