Ghoul Retainers and Ammo Cards

In 2001, there was a discussion of ammo cards and Ghoul Retainers. Ghoul Retainers could not use ammo, because ammo cards referred to minions, as in 'this minion inflics (blah) damage with this gun'. Card text on ammo cards has changed, and they now say 'this gun inflicts' instead of 'this minion inflicts'. Am I correct in concluding that ammo cards can now be played on a gun and a Ghoul retainer striking with that ammo'd up gun will inflict the ammo'd damage? gomi -- Tenser, said the Tensor; Tenser, said the Tensor; Tension, apprehension, and dissension have begun.
