vampire A is acting. B and C are tapped. B plays forced awakening and attempts to block. block is successful. C then plays Forced Awakening to play Shilmulo Deception. I presume neither B nor C needs to burn a blood for forced awakening, as they both successfully blocked? Does the 'not usable...cards that this vampire could not play' text on Shilmulo mean that, as you can't play the same reaction card twice on an action, and B played a Forced awakening, then when C plays _his_ forced awakening, it is affected by this clause? Also, I assume you can chain a few Shilmulo's together during a successful block? (ie: A blocks. B shilmulo's. C shilmulo's. D shilmulo's and finally gets to fight the acting minion). Forced Awakening [Sabbat:C, SW:C/PB2/PT5/PV2, FN:PA2/PS2, CE:PTr4, BH:PM3/PTr4] Cardtype: Reaction Only usable by a tapped vampire. This reacting vampire can attempt to block and play reaction cards as though untapped. If he or she does not successfully block this action, he or she burns an additional blood. Shilmulo Deception [FN:C2] Cardtype: Reaction Discipline: Chimerstry [chi] Only usable when a minion you control successfully blocks (play before combat). Not usable if the blocking minion played any reaction cards that this vampire could not play. Do not tap the blocking minion; tap this reacting vampire instead. Now this vampire is the blocking vampire (and combat begins as normal). [CHI] As above, and this vampire gets an optional maneuver during the first round of the resulting combat. salem domain:canberra http://www.geocities.com/salem_christ.geo/vtes.htm

IMO: NO You make the succesfull block fail when you play Shilmulo Deception. Only one vampire can succesfully block an action at the same time. > > Does the 'not usable...cards that this vampire could not play' text on > Shilmulo mean that, as you can't play the same reaction card twice on > an action, and B played a Forced awakening, then when C plays _his_ > forced awakening, it is affected by this clause? > correct It says "cards this vamp could play" not acctually played > Also, I assume you can chain a few Shilmulo's together during a > successful block? I have another question. Vampire A plays forced awakening and bloks. Can vampire B which is UNTAPED play Shilmulo Deception? I think no because he is untaped and so he cannot play forced awakening. Thanks a lot. Matkov

Thanks a lot. Correct, he could not have played Forced Awakening, so he cannot play Shilmulo Deception. [ quoted text not captured ]
