I know this maybe stupid but, what about a clan like the Salubri where the clan itself is independent by default. Does this card make a !Salubri into a Salubri even though the clan it self is not Cam? I would assume this could make a non-Scarce normal Salubri? Card text: Out of the frying Pan Master. Trifle Choose a ready sabat vampire you control. That vampire becomes Camarilla. (His or her Clan is not affected.)

No. Clan Impersonation could do that, though. > Card text: > Out of the frying Pan > Master. Trifle > Choose a ready sabat vampire you control. That vampire becomes > Camarilla. Good old card text. Nothing beats card text. >> I would assume this could make a non-Scarce normal Salubri? > >No. Clan Impersonation could do that, though. It wouldn't actually make the Salubri **non-scarce**, though, would it? You only get that if you Embrace, or somehow create another vampire with a Salubri, I expect? Xian

It would. A !Salubri who Clan Impersonates a Salubri would be a non-scarce normal Salubri. A Salubri who Clan Impersonates a !Salubri would be a scarce !Salubri (not a "non-scarce normal Salubri", which seems to be how you've interpreted the phrase). > You only get that if you Embrace, or somehow create another > vampire with a Salubri, I expect? Or Clan Impersonate to change clans to Salubri. [ quoted text not captured ]

Nothing beats card text. Seeds of corruption does ;)
