No. Dodge only negates the effect of a strike on the dodging minion. Any
other effects are not prevented (such as: attacks on retainers, damage from
a zip gun or a bomb or a burst of sunlight).
Combat Ends beats a dodge. [15.3]

Yes, Dodging does not protect the playing minion from damaged caused by a
strike that s/h/it plays, so Burst o' Sun & Body of Sun still damage the playing
minion when dodged. No, Strike: CE resolves before Strike: Dodge.
