Silly question. Is it possible to heal minions such as Talaq and Order of Cabal? Can you send them off to "hunt" to get life back?? Cheers George

[ quoted text not captured ] Never a sily question, George. :) In general, allies cannot hunt. Once they lose life, it cannot be regained unless the card says so. -- ************************************************************************* * Shawn F. If they can't hunt, what do they do at 0 blood in the minion phase?

Their life loss is permanent, barring abilities like Talaq's and the Mummies ability to gain life, Hell Hound and Garou regeneration, any future cards with similar powers, or any (as-of-yet-unprinted) cards that recover allies life. On a side note, retainers hurt outside of combat have the same problem... @ The Corrupter - Adrian Lee Sullivan @ GAT/CS/WS R+++* r(+)>++ # Gamer Coffee-Addict Scripter Author # C(+++)$ USX+$ N++ e+* @#$ Comments ? sull...@cslab.uwlax.edu $#@ tv(+)> X++ b++(+++) @#$ <http://cslab.uwlax.edu/~sulli_al/jyhad> $#@ PS+&-+ PE&-&++ z*+?

This is explicit, albeit hard to find, in the VtES rulebook: 8.1.1: "An ally who loses all of his life counters is burned." But contradicted in the same rulebook: 20.1: "Unlike vampires and allies, retainers do not have blood points" Trust me: 8.1.1 is the correct passage, not 20.1 Allies and retainers have life points, not blood points. Lose all your life, and you're burned. -- L. Scott Johnson (sjoh...@math.sc.edu) | In theory there is no difference http://www.math.sc.edu/~sjohnson | between theory and practice. Once an ally reaches 0 life, they are burnt... immediately even. :) -- ********************************************************************** * Shawn F.
