If you play a Wash, can you then play another OOT master before your next Master Phase (like a DI?). I found this on google: http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/742b7f96d40ad4ca?hl=en (searched on "out of turn wash author:LSJ") But it doesn't seem to address my question. My reasoning is: It seems that the paragraph in Out of Turn masters is pretty explicit, and I don't see anything on card text of Wash to contradict this sentence: "You cannot play a second out-of-turn master card before your next master phase." So, I think once you play Wash, you cannot play DI or Sudden or any other OOT master until your next Master phase. best - chris Rulebook 1.6.2 Paragraph 4: Out-of-turn: You may play an out-of-turn master card whenever appropriate during another player's turn. Doing so counts against your next master phase (see Master Phase, sec. 5). You cannot play a second out-of-turn master card before your next master phase. You cannot play an out-of-turn master card on your own turn. Paragraph 5: Trifle: Some master cards are identified as trifles. When a Methuselah plays a trifle (and it isn't canceled), she gains an additional master phase action. For an out-of-turn trifle, she gains a master phase action in her next master phase. A Methuselah can gain only one master phase action from trifles in a given master phase; others act like regular master cards. Wash [Third:U, LotN:PS, KoT:U] Cardtype: Master Master: out-of-turn. Trifle. Do not replace until your next untap phase. Cancel a master card played by your predator or prey as it is played (no cost is paid). That Methuselah gains a master phase action (if the canceled card is an out-of-turn master, the master phase action is gained during that Methuselah's next master phase). Artist: Jeremy McHugh

Also, 90% sure that if you play a Wash and then use that MPA to play a Life in the City, you don't gain another MPA because the bonus MPA from Wash is already your one trifle bonus MPA for that master phase.

Correct, it is explicitly prohibited by that text in the rulebook.
