"SABBAT WAR" Pre-Release Event, in New Jersey... featuring:

Struggle" ("V:TES" - formerly known as "Jyhad")
· Sabbat War Sealed Deck Tournament !

Where: The newly-opened second location of The Gamer's Realm, in
Cinnaminson, NJ
Who: EVERYONE! Both current V:TES players and new players!
*All* are welcome who would like to play with the soon-to-be-released
cards from the new expansion, SABBAT WAR, for the collectible card game,
"Vampire: The Eternal Struggle" ("V:TES")
Why: Well... to celebrate the release of the new V:TES expansion,
SABBAT WAR...
... and because you will be getting a lot of FREE STUFF! :)
Everyone who attends the "Sabbat War Pre-Release Event" and plays in a
DEMO Round of V:TES using the provided SABBAT WAR cards will get the
following, courtesy of White Wolf Games:
· FREE SABBAT WAR Pre-Constructed Starter Deck. This deck will work
right out of the box, and is fully compatible with all former V:TES (and
Jyhad) cards!
· FREE Promotional V:TES cards, including the new LUCITA card, as well
as the Mariana Gilbert and Dan Murdoch cards.
And since this is being held at the annual "Halloween Midnight Madness"
event of The Gamer's Realm, everyone who attends (whether they play in
the SABBAT WAR event or not) will receive, courtesy of The Gamer's
Realm:
· FREE PIZZA and FREE CANDY all-day and all-night long! Gaming of all
types will go on into the wee hours of the morning, so come down and
bring your friends!

For the veteran V:TES players, there will be a SABBAT WAR Sealed Deck
tournament!

Information regarding the SABBAT WAR Sealed Deck Tournament:
The Sabbat War Sealed Deck Tournament that will be held on this day will
be a non-sanctioned V:TES tournament, sponsored by White Wolf Games and
the "Vampire: Elder Kindred Network" ("V:EKN"), which is the Official
International Players' Organization for V:TES.
The Tournament will be a total of 3 rounds (i.e. 2 preliminary rounds,
plus the Final Round).
Those who will participate in the Sabbat War Sealed Deck Tournament will
be permitted to purchase 4 (four) Sabbat War booster packs from the
store at retail price, though this purchase is *not* mandatory to play
in the Tournament. All players will then be given a pre-set amount of
time to construct their Tournament decks from their FREE Pre-Constructed
Starter Deck (given to them during the Demo Round), plus the 4 purchased
Sabbat War booster packs (if applicable).
The Tournament deck that you create from the above mentioned SABBAT WAR
cards must contain a Library of 40 to 90 cards, and a Crypt of at least
12 cards.
Four-player tables will be used for the 2 preliminary rounds of the
Tournament, with each table having one of the 4 Pre-Constructed Starter
Decks (Lasombra, Tzimisce, Brujah-Antitribu, and Ventrue-Antitribu)
represented during each round. Some 5-player tables may be used, but
only as necessary. The Final Round will be a single 5-player table,
with the 5 players achieving the highest total Victory Points during the
2 preliminary rounds playing for the Championship. Tournament Points
will be used as tie-breakers to qualify for the Final Round, as usual.
The 2 preliminary rounds have a 2 hour time limit. The 5 players with
the highest total Victory Points from the 2 preliminary rounds advance
to the Final round, which has a time limit of 3 hours.
All current V:TES Rules, V:EKN Tournament Floor Rules (except where
noted above), and all official V:TES Rulings, Errata, and Clarifications
posted on or before the date of the tournament will be in effect.
Besides the Free Gifts mentioned above that will be given to all who
attend and play a SABBAT WAR Demo Round (which is not part of the
Tournament), there will be prizes for the winners of the SABBAT WAR
Sealed Deck tournament. These include (but are not limited to):
· Additional SABBAT WAR cards
· Clan Lasombra T-Shirt (featuring the picture of Lucita)
· Clan Tzimisce T-Shirt
· Clan novels from Vampire: The Masquerade

This SABBAT WAR Sealed Deck Tournament will be held instead of the
"Crusade: New Brunswick, NJ" constructed deck tournament that was
previously announced. The constructed deck tournament has been
rescheduled (tentatively) for Saturday, December 23, 2000.
