I have one copy of this vampire, and she has AUS (And THA, for 3...). It looks like she has been errated and now only had Aus ? Does that mean I no longer have the right to play her with AUS ? -- Yours, Orpheus, Prince of Marseille http://no.exit.free.fr (onlive novel) http://cypheranima.free.fr (goth band) news://news.zoo-logique.org/VTES-francophone audio...@yahoogroups.com

Were all of them printed this way, then errated ? Thank you. Orpheus

In a VEKN tournament, correct. In a non-sanctioned tournament, it's up to the judge (or whatever ruling authority that tournament recognizes). > > Officially, Blythe has normal, not superior, Auspex (and superior > > Thamaturgy). > > Just curious : is this misprinted version very common ? Compared to Anvil, she is nowhere near undercosted, and compared to others isn't particularly. Just seems strange to me, but maybe she will get reprinted, and then we don't need to worry about such things. Andy "Slytherin" Brown VEKN Setite Ruler of Cambridge

Likely the reason is: she was misprinted (as opposed to Anvil). Although she may have needed errata even without considering designer intent - AUS THA for 4 is very different than Anvil's situation. Whilst this is only against 1 clan, it is still a disadvantage that could be considered enough to balance the increased Auspex. Just a thought, but as no reason was originally given, and I assume it has been since originally printed, it is unlikely to change, and isn't that big in the grand scheme of things. So already (with aus THA), she's ahead of the game by at least a half a point. [ quoted text not captured ]

Well, how about Zoe then? A 3-cap with 4 points of disciplines and a 1/2 point disadvantage (don't try to claim it's worth a full point when she has obfuscate!). Maybe Zoe only has inferior Auspex as well! (Printer kept mistaking big eye for little eye...). Halcyan 2

It's worth a full point. :-) Having obfuscate and is not the same as having stealth. Even at a full point, Zoe's ahead of the game (now, but not with the out-of-clan costing scheme used at the time, if I remember that scheme correctly). Even if it's not, if it's only worth 0.001 point, that would just mean Zoe's above the scale (too), not that Blythe wasn't. > Maybe Zoe only has inferior Auspex as well! (Printer kept mistaking big eye for > little eye...). She apparently was not misprinted (no errata issued by the DT/RT who did so at the time for Blythe). [ quoted text not captured ]

Yes, but against the dreaded Malkavians, that's where it really hurts !! ;-) How about Teft of Vitae? :) > > I think that shoul be 1/8 point disadvantage :) How about 1/16nth ? Still, I would ahve liked to play her... Also was disappointed to see that all the 3 caps with AUS were Camarilla...

Every time I influence out Blythe, she plays cards like "Theft of Vitae", "Weather Control", and "Walk of Flame". She hasn't made a hand strike yet that I can remember. THA aus for a 3-cap is already a bit strong. THA AUS on a 3-cap is just huge, especially in current conditions. -- "There's no gray. There's just white that's got grubby." -- T.P.

[ quoted text not captured ] It would be REALLY nice if Blythe were to get reprinted in the Tremere starter. If she doesn't make an appearance in "The Camarilla", maybe she could be reprinted correctly as a promo to include in tournament prize support? BernieTime

What about the rest of us? C'mon man, we share our card collection. Don't you reckon it's about time you told everyone ? I'm sorry Green me old mucker consider yourself 'outed'...... It's official Ladies and Germs, Matt Green has our entire (considerable) collection of all things Tremere, magic, David Copperfield, Paul Daniels, ruby slippers, fairy wands etc etc. in his possession. Everything is either framed or mounted and make up the wallpaper (ooh did I say wallpaper? :o) in all but one of the rooms of his house and in the house of his childhood years. If I ask for anything even related to the Tremere, all I get is a hail of abuse and expletives. > Dave Hammond: "Matt! It's happened once that I can recall. My Ozmo was trapped by the little get on a hunt action, and She thefted (to cycle) and got hit, going to empty and then second round decided to punch him into torpor, thinking that it was an even trade. Ooopps. I think I ended up winning because of that, but it was a while ago. The awful thing was the player had a walk of flames in hand, but had decided to save it for the next block. -->you know who you are. Cameron
