Hello all, Seeing as the newsletters of the Necromancing Clans seem to have some regularity problems, I wondered if we couldn't regroup our efforts like I did for the Necromancing site, and write ONE BIG newsletter each month for : Giovanni, Samedi, Nagaraja, Harbingers, and friends. What do the concerned writers think about it ? -- Yours from the Grave, Orpheus http://necrobones.free.fr http://no.exit.free.fr http://cypheranima.free.fr news://news.zoo-logique.org/VTES-francophone "I wish I was a sailor A thousand miles from here I wish I had a future Anywhere" David Bowie

Has anyone ever put out a Nagaraja newsletter? Is there any reason to do so given that they don't function as a clan except through medium discipline crossover? Anyway, I'm not one of the writers and maybe I shouldn't comment at all, but I'm reminded of Peter's(?) comment that more (often) of less is better than less of more. My sense is that a number of editors try to hard to save up material rather than striving to put a little out regularly. This plan of rolling all of these clans together seems like it would encourage editors/writers to save up material. And, if every clan were to get covered, the newsletter might be so long that readers wouldn't focus on every fascinating section.

Hi Curevei, > Has anyone ever put out a Nagaraja newsletter? That is answered now, and Arpèges worked with me on some aspects on the necrosite. Is there any reason to do so > given that they don't function as a clan except through medium discipline > crossover? Fun and bones. Also the background aspect (for fiction, among others), because the 3 main lineages descend from the Cappadocians. But the idea came to me while thinking of decks which will include some Giovanni, Harbingers, Matthias, Ian Forrestal etc. Also, the Samedi newsletter (which was quite good BTW) seems dead, no news from the Skulls, and Nagaraja lack Time (they should ally with Krassimir...). Therefore my proposition. Also, of course : after a while people lack idea on a given Clan. More ideas can come from the principle of using some clans mixed together. > Anyway, I'm not one of the writers and maybe I shouldn't comment at all, but > I'm reminded of Peter's(?) comment that more (often) of less is better than > less of more. That's why it would be nice, I think, to regroup efforts and plan together. > This plan of rolling all of these clans together seems like it would encourage > editors/writers to save up material. We could alternate clans, or include some parts on a clan, some on others (some editing would need to be done and I of course volunteer). I expect answers from the concerned writers. Without them, I'll still do the Giovanni part, but if the writers seem "down" and the coordinator (Lasombra) agrees, or of course it the writers want to participate, I'll include aspects from other clans. But I'd really like to make it a Necromancer's Newsletter. Arpèges, your opinion ? Others ? [ quoted text not captured ]

Would guess not as you'd have to be a member to reach the target posting. Or am I amiss in this assumption? Reason I ask is that I've completed a quick-access interface that allows me to pull up any newsletter that is currently archived on your site. Guessing that you're moving away from archiving newsletters on the website, and just re-posting them on the Newsletter Forum? If that's the case then my quick-interface will pretty much hit a dead end post January 2003. >Carpe noctem. > >Lasombra > >http://www.TheLasombra.com BernieTime Lansing, Michigan

Many people over the years have asked me if they were available on a mailing list or available in email. I now post them to that mailing list as requested.
