It is indeed a typo: corrections to all typos in VTES were printed in a
recent issue of Duellist.(Two other tyupos that I recall: All hunting
grounds are supposed to cost 2 pool (one is misprinted as free) and Hawg
is supposed to provide one press per combat, not per round.)

No. Blood Rage was officially errata'd to Thaumaturgy even before VTES
came out.

There are intended to be no timing issues in Jyhad: if the card can only
be used at a specific time, it says so on the card, otherwise it may be
used at any time.
: 4. What are non-camarilla vamps unable to do?
Call/Become an Archon, call/become a Camarilla Exemplary, call a vote to

cannot remember at this moment.

Unlikely, but I'll leave this for Tom.
: 6. If you dragonbreath a zip-gun, does it add 2 agg to the damage the

No. The user takes one non-agg damage no matter what mdifiers are
applied to the actual gun.
: 7. Just to get it down ONE MORE TIME, who gets screwed by Rotschreck?
The vampire _dealing_ the aggravated damage.

MUST the controller of chantry bring a Tremere out of torpor even if

If not, can you play with the old versions of the cards to avoid the
limitation?

Under Jhyad yes but VTES makes it optional.
And yea the glad cries of the Tremere could be heard allaround!

You know Tom,
all of this fancy footwork could be avoided by simply re-inforcing the fact
that the resolutin of the strike and the healing of damage are not done in
the same instant.
1. Choose Strike.
2. Resolve Strike.
a. Deal Damage/Steal Blood/etc.
b. Heal/Prevent Damage.
(This is the official ordering that yields all of the errata/clarifications
to steal blood - except for the one that says Stealing Blood won't burn
an empty vampire except in the basic game).
Instead of superfluous errata stating that claws must be played during
1., just reiterate the fact that playing claws during 2b. won't affect 2a.
(Then ammo cards wouldn't feel so different than claws).

You play the rounds during strike resolution, as the card (essentially) says.
The ammunition cards basically break the rules for when you would play cards
affecting your damage for the round.

There seems to have been a misunderstanding... You can play Wolf Claws
during any part of step 2, it just won't affect the damage dealt during
step 2. It would only affect damage dealt by strikes chosen later.
Ammo cards have a specific time when they are played.

No misunderstanding - just trying to clean up the ruling. The ruling that
says that you must play the Claws in step 1. is functionally different
than the ammo text. Which is fine if you need to make such a distinction.
But, the same effect (can't play Claws after preventing damage) could be
achieved by saying that a damage modifier played during 2b wouldn't
have an effect on the current strike - whether the modifier was Claws or
ammo.
By keeping the distinction, are you saying that I could prevent damage (with
Skin of Rock, e.g.), then, having drawn an ammo card to replace SoR, play the
ammo card to increase the damage I'm doing?
This was the form of the question (using Claws instead of ammo) that led
to the Claws ruling.
