- Vampire A rushes tapped enemy vampire B with Nose of the Hound - Vampire B plays Majesty to S:CE - Vampire A plays Psyche! to restart combat - Vampire B plays WWEF and Obedience to prevent the new combat Is this allowable and legal play of Obedience? I'm not so sure, but others seemed to think otherwise last night. Can someone confirm/clarify please? Also, if it *is* legal then I suppose due to the timing there is no opportunity to play a second Psyche! or Telepathic Tracking because you're effectively out of combat now? Regards, Mike

Ok thanks. Out ot curiosity, if Vampire B had played Oubliette for S:CE instead, I assume that Vampire A would still not have taken any damage from the card's effects, even though the second combat didn't happen? I think that since the rules clarification on Majesty states: The untap effect of the "combat ends and untap" effect occurs when the strike resolves. It is not delayed until after combat. [RTR 20020501] The WWEF wouldn't be playable (As WWEF says "Only usable by a tapped vampire." As it's first line.) I may be mistaken on this (Or I may just be nitpicking) - LSJ? -Colin (Lee)

With Majesty at *superior* you are quite right, the WWEF wouldn't be needed. It is quite trivial though as I was seeking clarification on the play of Obedience.... Regards, Mike
