Hi LSJ - We had a question about Kholos in our Release party tournament this evening. Ishtarri Kholo React/ActMod Only Usable during a Pol Act. Usable by a tapped vampire. Title. Put this card on this Ishtarri to represent the unique Laibon title of Ishtarri Kholo (worth 2 Votes). Not usable if there are any older ready untitled Ishtarri. Whenever this vampire is not a ready Ishtarri or there is an older ready untitiled Ishtarri, move this card to (one of) the oldest ready untitled Ishtarri (if any). This card can be played during a referendum. 2 Questions: Two different reacting Meths have the two oldest untitled Ishtarri. They both attempt to play the card. What is the timing? Our specific questions: Do they contest before or after the votes are cast, and whichever it is, what is the status of the cast votes, do they count or not? Is it whomever says "I play the Ishtarri Kholo" first gets to vote? Another scenario with Kholo: Someone else has the oldest Ishtarri Kholo already in play. I have an Ishtarri the same age. The other Meth votes with his Ishtarri Kholo. I then play my Ishtarri Kholo onto my vampire. Do the votes from the other meth still stand? As judge, I ruled that the Kholos would contest, and the any votes cast by those Kholos would not count, regardless of when in the referendum they were cast. But I had no real reason to do so, except for smoothness and to prevent the "I played it first"/"I put it down on the table first" sort of arguments... best - chris -- Third Planet www.thethirdplanet.com he...@thethirdplanet.com 3631 Pacific Coast Highway Torrance CA 90505 USA 310 791-6227

What is the timing? 1.6.1.5. Ha, take that, LSJ. > Do they contest before or after the votes are cast, and whichever it > is, what is the status of the cast votes, do they count or not? A vampire who loses votes during a referendum may lose votes he already cast. > Is it whomever says "I play the Ishtarri Kholo" first gets to vote? > Yes, and then when those votes are lost, they are no longer tallied. > Another scenario with Kholo: Someone else has the oldest Ishtarri Kholo > already in play. Correct. -- That is my story, be it bitter or be it sweet. Keep a little and let a little come back to me.
