Thanks for clearing some things up. What I was trying to get at with my first question concerning FoM was this: Vamp A plays +2 stealth on his action and Vamp B comes up with +2 intercept to block. In combat Vamp A plays FoM at superior. In order to intercept Vamp A again, what can Vamp B do? 1)Play a Cat's Guidance and come up with one more +1 intercept. 2)Play a wake and one additional +1 intercept. 3)Play a wake/Cat's guidance and start over again with intercept, now needing +3 intercept. Again, thanks for your help... Alex

If vamp A had played Cat's Guidance before the combat to untap, then he could come up with one more intercept and block again, yes. Cat's Guidance has to be played when the action is blocked, and the RT has ruled that this means before the resulting combat. > 2)Play a wake and one additional +1 intercept. Yes. > 3)Play a wake/Cat's guidance and start over again with intercept, now > needing +3 intercept. Not necessary. All stealth and intercept modifiers remain in effect for the duration of the action, not just the duration of the block attempt. -- L.
