LSJ : Heidelburg Castle and Femur of Toomler

Can I use a Tzimisce to equip Femur of Toomler, then use Heidelburg Castle to transfer it to a non-Tzimische minion? Or does must the recipient also be Tzimisce? Thanks, Tim

No. You only have to be a Tzimisce when initially equipping the Femur (i.e. putting it into play). You do not need to be a Tzimisce to use it. Compare to the text on Sword of Judgment for example. If card text allows a vampire/minion to use it, then it doesn't need to be of the required clan.

Note that in some cases, equipment will only work when used by vampires from certain clans, as specified by card text (e.g., Sword of Judgement). But even in these cases, you may move the equipment to minions _not_ belonging to that clan - they just cannot use it.
