I would have gone for Brujah princes with dominate instead of Salubri. The Brujah princes will share 2 disciplines, and a Fifth Tradition or two will keep you going nicely. This would allow you to drop the fortitude and dominate discipline masters and add a second Hunting Ground, the Warzone Hunting Ground. Consistent blood gain is more important in running Abyssal Hunters than just about anything else. It would also add some significant vote defense, as the five votes from a Prince and Gratiano will be harder to bypass than Gratiano alone. Something like this: Crypt: (12 cards, Min: 18, Max: 32, Avg: 6.67) ---------------------------------------------- 1 Emerson Bridges DOM FOR pot PRE 8, Ventrue:1, Prince 2 Donal O`Connor CEL DOM POT 8, Brujah:2, Prince 2 Constanza Vinti CEL DOM POT 8, Brujah:2, Prince 1 Cameron dom pot 3, Lasombra:2 1 Ignacio dom obt pot 4, Lasombra:2 1 Banjoko obt pot DOM 5, Lasombra:3 1 Aurora Van Brande dom for OBT pot 6, Lasombra:2 1 Lisette Vizquel DOM POT pro 6, Lasombra:2, Bishop 2 Gratiano DOM obf OBT pot 8, Lasombra:2, Priscus >Deck Name: M E D i C ! You will be bled more than once per turn. I would increase the Deflections to 8, or replace the 4 Laptop Computers with Second Traditions, you can then increase the number of Obediences appropriately. >Combat (14 cards) >4 Arms of the Abyss >1 Entombment >3 Oubliette Replace these: >2 Rolling with the Punches >4 Vitae Block With potence strikes, preferably Thrown Gate, as then all of your vampires can get out of the way on those occasions when they are blocked in the process of recruiting Abyssal Hunters. >Ally (9 cards) >8 Abyssal Hunter >1 Vagabond Mystic I think the action to recruit the Vagabond Mystic will be a wasted action, but try it and let us know how it goes. >Equipment (4 cards) >4 Laptop Computer You really can't afford the pool cost for this equipment. Consider letting the Abyssal Hunters Computer Hack or Rush instead. Also consider Aaron's Feeding Razor, as you will really need all of the blood gain you can scratch up when you have 4-5 Abyssal Hunters in play. This ends up being quite a different deck than your original thoughts, but the discipline spread is too disparate between Lasombra and Salubri and I think the deck presented above would function more consistently and all of the cards would be playable by almost all of the vampires. You original deck will jam horribly if you lose your Salubri to torpor or burning. Carpe noctem. Lasombra http://www.TheLasombra.com

As you are playing with fortitude, why not add 3-4 Masochism to the deck? That deals with the Hunter-damage... or sort of deals with it. Make it an all-Lasombra deck that way (Lucita, Henri, Aurora and even Moncada).

>snip comments< thanx for the tips, I'll try them (even though I don't have more charisma nor elysian fields). I've played the Salubri version a couple of times with mild succes but probably the Brujah Princes will work a lot better. I'll keep you informed. [ quoted text not captured ]

The Lasombra is my hero for using "discipline master" instead of calling them "skill cards" ...in terms of V:tES, what is a "skill" ? (snip rest)

The Jyhad base set used "master: skill" for the cards we currently refer to as "master: Discipline" cards (on both card text and in the rules). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Well, heck, if you go this route, instead of Brujah Princes, try it with Marcus Vitel and Lucinde Alastor. That way you can use both the 5th Trads and the Fortitude and potence... and dominate... and one can rush... hmmm... Where can I get some Hunters?
