Quick question: Minion A attempts an action. Minion B, who has no Obtenebration, declares a block attempt. Minion A plays Tenebrous Form at superior. Does Minion B immediately burn a blood, since he is already attempting to block, or is there a window during which he can declare that he has stopped trying to block and thereby avoid having to burn a blood? We ruled last night that you could decline to block before you had to burn a blood, but in retrospect that seems wrong - the effect of superior Tenebrous is similar enough to superior Faceless Night that I'm betting Minion B must burn a blood. Thanks. John Eno, who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men

I'm confused by your answer, LSJ. #1Are you saying that he ruled correctly on that a minion trying to block an action can decline to if tenebrous form at sup is played? #2Or are you saying, that he is correct in that he was wrong, that it is similar to Faceless Night, and can't try to back out. For #1, does that mean that any minion can attempt to back out of blocking after they've declared their attempt to do so? Jamie Seppo Prince of Gawler First Come, First Staked.

Resolve confusion: He "ruled" correctly. (Search for "ruled" in the quoted material to see what it was that he ruled.)
