1. Derange. We already know that a clan impersonation voids the clan status of the derange card. Question, once i've impersonized a new clan and am no longer a malk, or malk! does the burn blood effects of the Derange card still come into play? Question 1b. If I've been deranged by a Malk, can I clan imp to Malk! to avoid the deranged card effects? 2. Palatial Estate. Cards contested are not in play. The Vampire that has the contested Palatial estate is burned or otherwise removed from the game. Can I continue to pay for contesting the palatial estate until such a time that I would control the card uncontested? At which point I assume that it would burn and join the vampire that had brought it into play. Raille

If you derange a CI'ed vampire, then that vampire is a (!)Malk. > Question, once i've impersonized a new clan and am no longer a malk, or > malk! does the burn blood effects of the Derange card still come into play? Yes. Card text: "The vampire with this card..." > Question 1b. > > If I've been deranged by a Malk, can I clan imp to Malk! to avoid the > deranged card effects? No. All the effects apply to "this vampire". > 2. Palatial Estate. > > Cards contested are not in play. The contest will similarly end if the bearer is Banished, and it will resume again when the vampire is recontrolled. The only time the contest will still be fought when the card it is on is out of play is when the card it is on is being contested as well. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. So, if I have a contested Palacial Estate and someone then contests the vampire that had the Palacial Estate, is the Palacial Estate no longer contested and must be yielded? -- Comments Welcome, Norman S. So, using an example: Meth 1 has Vamp A with Unique Equipment A. Meth 2 has Vamp B. Meth 3 influences into play Vamp A, contesting with Meth 1. Both Vamp A's and all their associated cards are turned face down. If Meth 2 then uses Vamp B to equip with another copy of Unique Equipment A, he will have to contest Unique Equipment A with Meth 1. Yes?
