Hi everybody, Could anyone tell me why this won't work, because if it does, it ain't fun: I make Masika a Malkavian (possible, but don't know cards name by now) then play Madness network and after my turn, before my prey's, i bleed him to death because i can untap (Masika) and take an action (Network) as often as I want. Next, Can I throw the damage from a Talbot's chainsaw on my Ferryman and let him live (only aggravated damage hurts him)? This way I have a pretty powerful weapon. Please send your reaction to me, W.H.J....@students.geo.uu.nl Wouter

This doesn't work. You can make Masika a Mad Malkavian with Clan Impersonation, and he will get to take lots of actions, but you do not get infinite actions. This is because Masika untaps between *turns*, and Madness Network lets you take actions during another Meth's minion phase, after they've taken all the actions they want to. : Next, : Can I throw the damage from a Talbot's chainsaw on my Ferryman and let : him live (only aggravated damage hurts him)? Doesn't work. Masika untaps at the end of any Methuselah's turn (between turns, actually, but that's the same as at the end of a turn). Madness Network allows actions to be taken during another Methuselah's minion phase, after that Methuselah has finished all of her minion phase actions. So, first off, you can't use it on your own turn (it has to be *another* Methuselah's turn). But, even so, it still won't work. Masika can take an action at the end of your Prey's (or whomever's) minion phase and then untap at the end of that player's turn (between that turn and the next player's turn). He cannot take another action on that player's turn, though since the minion phase is already gone (as well as the Influence Phase and Discard Phase which followed it). > Next, > > Can I throw the damage from a Talbot's chainsaw on my Ferryman and let > him live (only aggravated damage hurts him)? It's possible. It's difficult. It's fragile. If you stick with a pure Presence deck, then it doesn't come together very well until Masika goes crazy and gets the Network out. Even then, you have little stealth, so you're easy to block, and your combat defense is mostly S:CE, and most clans have ways of dealing with S:CE. It can be made more effective by adding stealth (probably Obfuscate since you have Malks, too) but then you run into problems that although you avoid more combats, you have worse defenses for when you do get into combat. Also, don't forget that you have to protect the Madness Network. And Masika only untaps once between turns, so you can only take one action for each player. I've played against this deck before, and although it can be frightening, I've seen much worse decks before. -Mark Langsdorf Jyhad Archivist http://www.io.com/~mlangsdo/RPGs/Jyhad/
