Every time I visit my local gaming store I'm told that DS is due next
month, it has been so since August. :-) And in my naive belief I thought
that DS was merly very lateworldwide. But apparantly it has been aviable
to the American gamers for quite some time now.
So to cut a long text short...
When will DS be avaible to us poor mortals and other dreg in Europe.
Anybody out there that has got a clue?

Actually as far as I know it only hit about 2-3 weeks ago.

Dark Sovereigns was released just a few weeks ago. If you're having
trouble finding it over there, you could try asking one of our customer
service offices where you might find it. Try u...@wizards.com or
bel...@wizards.com, depending on which side of the channel you're on.
Note that it's likely the only information they can give out along
these lines is to give lists of distributors to retailers, so you might
have to work with your local hobby store on this.

Thank you. But actually I had the luck to stumble across it in one of my
loclal stores just today. I bougth four boosters, and got Greger Anderssen
wich made me as a swedish national very happy. Anderssen though is not all
that swedish a name, mabe he should be the prince of Oslo?
Thanks anyway.

They have difficulties with Dutch names as well, even in the origional set:
Lydia Van Cuelen sounds Dutch, but Lydia van Keulen would *really* be Dutch,
and like wise from DS:
Nikolaus Vermeulen --> Nicolaas Vermeulen (or Nikolaas)
The family name is extremely Dutch, but Nikolaus sounds Eastern European.
Klaus van der Veken --> Klaas van der Veken
The family name is unusual (never seen it before), but possibly Dutch,
the first name (again) is German!
It seems to me that WotC with their Belgian office should be able to
obtain some sensible Dutch first names... (even typical first names,
like Jeroen, which is quite an old name)

Well french names are not french too
Exemple:
Sacre Cour, Cathedral
A) It is not a cathedral but a basilica (Like St Peter in Rome)
B) Sacr(e), the (e) should have an accent. Here it is "Rite" and not
"Holy"
C) Cour should be Coeur. So it should be "Heart" and not "Courtyard"
Sacr(e) Coeur means "Holy Heart" and it is spelled as "Rite of the
Courtyard"
It is like french guy spelling "Holy Heart" as 違ollow Art".
Seems funny but each country as its way to spell foreign names.

As a Finn the though of Stockholm as a Malkavian stronghold brought
more than just a smile to my face. "Now that explains a lot..." :-)
Still waiting for "Praxis Seizure: Helsinki" -- though it would
probably be a Sabbat card (judging from the way our local Masquerade
LARP is heading...).

"Dartmoor" has a quote referring to "North", which is a bit sad, as Dartmoor
is actually in the Southwest of Britain. But hell, it's only for an
American market. We should be pathetically grateful that they've noticed
that there is a world out here.
Compared to the average WW material, they've done very well.
(Don't mind being flamed - I've got Rotschreck in my hand ;-) )
