"any damage the vampire inflicts one allies is reduced to 0". What about Oubliette : "and opposing minion burns one blood or life after combat" ? And Theft of Vitae, is it considered as damage to an ally ? Therefore cards refering to those effects aren't affected in any way by memories of mortality. > And Theft of Vitae, is it considered as damage to an ally ? no it's still a life/blood steal card. It doesn't deal damage to the opposing ally. It works even under memories of mortality. > Thanks, de rien =) reyda

I figured that Theft and Oubliette would work ( being that they're not damage ) but I checked, and found on Google. >>The vampire (with Memories of Mortality) will do 0 damage to the ally. >>Does this include environmental damage (ie Weather Control, Carrion Crows)? > >No. > >That's part of the definition of environmental damage, damage that isn't >inflicted by the vampire. "Orpheus" asked about Memories of Mortality: >"any damage the vampire inflicts one allies is reduced to 0". >What about Oubliette : "and opposing minion burns one blood or life after >combat" ? This is not damage, and so is unafffected by Memories of Mortality. >And Theft of Vitae, is it considered as damage to an ally ? Stealing life is not damage, and is unaffected by Memories of Mortality. And what about the damage from Catatonic fear ? Is it considered as inflicted by the opposing minion, and thus reduced to 0 ?

On Wed, 12 Jun 2002 13:26:52 +0200, "Orpheus" asked about Memories of Mortality: >> >"any damage the vampire inflicts one allies is reduced to 0". [ quoted text not captured ] The damage from Catatonic Fear is damage inflicted by a strike, therefore it is damage from the minion, therefore it is reduced to zero by Memories of Mortality.
