#1. The New Inquisition [Gehenna:R] Cardtype: Event Gehenna. Do not replace until a titled vampire goes to torpor. Requires at least one other Gehenna card in play. During each Methuselah's untap phase, he or she may choose a ready vampire controlled by his or her prey. That vampire takes 1 unpreventable damage. Any titled vampire may call a referendum to burn this card as a +1 stealth political action. If The New Inquisition is burned via referendum before a titled vampire has gone to torpor, is the card never replaced then? #2. Thirst [Gehenna:R] Cardtype: Event Gehenna After a Methuselah has finished all of his or her minion phase actions, each ready vampire he or she controls with capacity less than the number of Gehenna cards in play who did not hunt in that minion phase burns 1 blood. I'm guessing that the intent of the card was that it affects a Methusaleh has finished all of his or her minion phase actions *during his or her minion phase*, is that correct? Because the way it is currently worded seems like it will affect *everyone* during each minion phase. This is because each Methusaleh has the opportunity to take minion phase actions during another player's minion phase (due to the existence of Madness Network). Thus it is Player A's turn. After he has finished all of his minion actions, then Thirst affects his minions. Player B then takes some actions with the Madness Network. It would seem to reason that then "After [Player B] has finished all of his or her minion phase actions, each ready vampire he or she controls with capacity less than the number of Gehenna cards in play who did not hunt in that minion phase burns 1 blood." The minion phase is not Player B's, but the minion phase actions are. This precedent would seem to even affect Player C, who controls no Malkavians and does not take any actions during A's minion phase (otherwise Player A would be able to avoid Thirst by not taking any actions either). Some clarification would be helpful! Halcyan 2

The way it's currently worded seems like the former. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. LSJ, just to be clear, The New Inquisition is in play. If it is burned by Black Hand Ritual, it is drawn back because of the text of Black Hand Ritual, If NI is burned by its own card text, it is not replaced until a titled vampire goes to torpor. Or the effect of the "Do not replace" is not contingent on the card being in play, David Wilson
