Can Toreador's Bane be played at MEL by the acting minion during an action that was not blocked ? (eg. during an action to enter combat) What happens? Name: Toreador's Bane [BL:C1, LoB:R] Cardtype: Combat Discipline: Melpominee/Presence Only usable in combat with a Toreador, Toreador antitribu, ally or younger vampire. [pre] Strike: combat ends. [mel] Strike: combat ends, and if this vampire was blocked while performing an action other than a political action or bleeding, the action continues as if unblocked. [MEL] Strike: combat ends, and the action continues as if unblocked.

I'm more curious about what happens when a blocking minion plays TB. Not that it matters much since you could just play it at inferior if you don't want the action to continue. But suppose you had a Telepathic Misdirection, Toreador's Bane, a Daughter and an AUS-chump. Predator is bleeding you. Instead of bouncing right away you decide to fish for some stealth cards and block with the Daughter. Predator reads your mind and decides not to add stealth. Can the Daughter now play Toreador's Bane at superior to let the action continue so you can use that Misdirection?
