Question #1 I have quentin with a Fame on it, ready and with blood. I'm with 3 pool left as my prey does (we are the last remaining at the table). I have a force of will in my hand, so i manage to make quentin to hunt, then i play force of will+daring the dawn, both at superior. Is the following timing ousting correct: - My prey burns the 3 pool from the bleed, is ousted and i gain the 6 pool plus the Vp - Quentin goes to torpor, i burn the 3 pool or the two thing occours at the same time ? (my prey is ousted and quentin goes to torpor, ousting myself too with the fame pool loss? ) Question #2 A strike: combat ends cancels the effect of *any* strike, including another S:CE ? Say, minion A (acting) plays a superior catatonic fear, and minion B (blocking) plays superior Majesty. Does minion B untaps by his sup Majesty ? thanks in advance Emiliano, v:ekn Prince of Rome

Quentin goes to torpor after the action resolves. You have a window of time to declare the bleed succesful, burn the pool from your prey, oust him, gain 6. Then you put quentin in torpor, burning 3 pool. Note that if quentin is low on blood you may attempt to burn him by pleying daring the dawn at inferior. || Question #2 || A strike: combat ends cancels the effect of *any* strike, including || another S:CE ? || Say, minion A (acting) plays a superior catatonic fear, and || minion B (blocking) plays superior Majesty. || Does minion B untaps by his sup Majesty ? Each strikes resolves accordingly. The vamp who played majesty untaps, the vamp who played Catatonic still inflicts 1 damage to his opponent. So if his opponent had only one blood left to pay for the majesty, he will go to torpor after combat.

S:CE doesn't cancel the effect of a strike - it prevents other strikes fro resolving by virtue of ending combat before they can resolve. Since other S:CE will resolve simultaneously, however, the S:CE won't prevent them from resolving. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
