Damage done by cards played by the minion, but not "from" the minion
like a strike. All non-strike damage inflicted on an opposing minion.

This part is correct.
The damage is coming from the retainers, not from the minion,
and so it will not count for Pulled Fangs, Blood of Acid,
Memories of Mortality, et. al.
