- How can "environmental damage" be exactly defined? Is damage from retainers considered environmental or coming from the minion with the retainer? - I play a Master card, my prey plays Sudden Reversal to burn my card, my predator plays another S.R. to reverse my prey's. What happens? Does it mean that my original master is not burned or is it burned anyway? Thank you. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/

If it didn't, the point of playing and allowing the playing of the second Sudden Reversal would be none. -- James Coupe | PGP Key 0x5D623D5D "What's wrong with wanting more? Damage done by cards played by the minion, but not "from" the minion like a strike. All non-strike damage inflicted on an opposing minion. James was confused when he replied with the following, which is wrong: > Effectively, it's anything from a strike to the opposing minion > (e.g. the damage Rufina Soledad does to Lucita with her hand strike) > or anything else which explicitly specifies it comes from the minion. > > >Is damage from > >retainers considered environmental or coming from the minion with the > >retainer? > > It's considered environmental. This part is correct. The damage is coming from the retainers, not from the minion, and so it will not count for Pulled Fangs, Blood of Acid, Memories of Mortality, et. al. > >- I play a Master card, my prey plays Sudden Reversal to burn my > > card, my predator plays another S.R. to reverse my prey's. Well, try this... :-) Damage is only considered to have come from a minion if the damage is from a strike or if an effect specifically states that the damage is dealt by the minion. Damage from other effects is considered "environmental," and has no particular source. [RTR 19970630] So, as James and the Lasombra (mmm.... is it The Lasombra instead?) pointed out, retainers are part of the environment... [ quoted text not captured ]

I got confused: 1. Is damage from Blood to Acid enviromental? I think that it is and you can't prevent it by skin of steel, you must need skin of rock or something similar, right? Take [ quoted text not captured ]
